I find it amusing when people assume they need to explain Halsin, Astarion, Gale, Wyll, Lae'zel, and Karlach to me. As if I’m too "shallow" or "thirsty" to take this fandom seriously. I've played the game for over 2,000 hours, so I believe I've earned my stripes. Just to clarify, I'm not mentioning those hours as a bragging point; I logged that time while on sick leave, but still managed to create something meaningful during that difficult transition. Unless I've specifically asked for an explanation, I really don’t need one. Thank-you-very-much. 😑

Hi Ms Lim:) Im Niya from 1sr29. How can we incorporate the idea of opposing general assumptions and reality into our essay? (Eg: Intro or conclusion?)

It can be addressed throughout the essay.

Hi Ms Lim, this is Christine from SR18. How do we identify and answer assumptions?

In the same manner we have discussed assumptions in class, they can be identified by asking ourselves two questions: What is the general perception of the topic? Is it the same in reality? 

Imagine the thought process of the asker: Why did he/she find the question important enough to ask it? Does the question imply an implicit perspective? 

There is usually a need to address assumptions in answering a question. This may not be done explicitly. However, in the process of argumentation, some of these assumptions may be addressed in your crafting of Topic Sentences or in your line of reasoning.
