Notes: Aaaaa. Arthur's POV is just the best here! He is so so sweet and stupid and emotionally stunted, and his endless attempts at getting his heart to stfu are so hilarious misguided, but he was also perfect and brave and strong and in-character. This is the Arthur I wanted to see in the show. Also, it's just so nice to read this because it has plot, and great writing, but no conflict or stress really, so it's really soothing for the soul. This fic just makes me laugh and smile a lot. Tbh, this might be my favorite Merthur fic of all time, and it's definitely my favorite canon au. The perfect balance of everything.
Summary: Despite being a little bit in love with his friendly neighborhood barista, Kibum's life of office work and hanging out with his friends is quite uneventful. What causes it to take a turn for the extraordinary is an administrative blunder -- the kind that puts other people's love lives into his hands. That, and the unfortunate side-effect of shooting down his own chances at love.

Comment: This story was so upbeat and amusing I loved it. I loved that it was from Arthur’s POV and we could see how much he loved and wanted Merlin, but couldn’t see how much Merlin wanted him too. I loved his inner monologues and the situation they found themselves in was very funny. I really liked how blunt and open Arthur was about his feelings when they finally admitted them to one another.

When Harry needs Louis with him in LA, a publicity stunt gone wrong changes their friendship forever.
2. These Sweet Thoughts (adelagia) - Featuring Louis as Ariel in a production of The Tempest, Harry as a happily overworked pastry chef, Niall their cheerleader, Zayn their less vocal but equally enthusiastic cheerleader, Kinder Surprises, stiff peaks, and someone getting punched by mistake.
3. We Can Take The Long Way Home (eleadore) - “Fertile,” Louis says, and then laughs because it sounds stupid to say out loud. He hasn’t ever really thought of himself in those terms. Baby-making terms. It’s just one of those things his body can do, like exercise, or go without tea. Doesn’t mean he will.
4. I’ll Crash Until You Notice Me (stylinsoncity) - Louis sets off to Barbados to oversee the massive resort his family owns known as Sandy Hill. For years, he’s been looking for a change in the monotony of his life, seeking adventure and perhaps love too. What he doesn’t expect is the bright eyed boy who spills a milkshake on his shoes.
5. Smoke And Mirrors (colazitron) - Louis and Harry meet on a night out and find they can help each other out by pretending to be a couple. It just might get Louis’ mum off his back and Harry’s maybe-ex to want him back. Simple plan, right? Wrong.
6. My Kingdom For A Kiss (Tonight You’re On My Mind) (ab_hinc) - Zayn and Louis make a friendly wager and it goes too far, Harry’s a baker with a heart of gold and really great hair, Liam is an overworked PA who just wants to enjoy his holiday and Niall is completely at ease, as always. An accidentally married AU mixed with a splash of modern royalty.
7. Hold Me Closer (balanceds) - Louis Tomlinson is one of the most promising dancers of the English National Ballet, on track to become the youngest principal dancer in the company’s history. That is, until forces conspire to significantly complicate his life, including: a surprise ballet, an unfairly attractive guest choreographer, and being pushed into a rivalry with his best mate. Featuring lots of wine, dancing, pining, and a happy ending.
8. Led By Your Beating Heart (missandrogyny) - AU where Harry’s in One Direction, Louis isn’t, and they reconnect over a game of ‘Call or Delete’.
9. These Constant Stars (stylinsoncity) - Louis’ career has nowhere to go but up. He’s living at the height of New York City on the precipice of an epic promotion. Life is good and only getting better. And then one day, things turn disastrous.
10. In Dreams (dolce_piccante) - When Harry moves to a new city, his new flat come with a number of sweet, anonymous gifts and surprises that brighten his days. Could it be a friendly ghost? Another friendly presence in his new building is his tattooed neighbor, Louis, who seems determined to put a smile back on his face.
11. Relief Next To Me (dolce_piccante) - What happens when a baker and a graphic designer meet via a very specific Craigslist post? Fate, friendship, food, and maybe more.
12. Celebrity Discount (loadedgunn) - Louis fell for Prince Harry when he was ten and Harry was eight and peeked behind the Queen’s elegant gown for his first public appearance—a shy smile and a mess of curls. He fell for him when he caught Lottie putting up a magazine cover of Harry on her wall and all she had to say for herself was, “He’s such a good person, yeah?” and, yeah. He fell for him when Harry gracefully accepted his demotion. He fell for him when Harry came out and stayed out.

Comment: This story is so fluffy and lovely! I loved seeing Merlin from Arthur’s perspective and how Arthur adored all of Merlin’s little traits, even if he wouldn’t admit it to himself. Both characters were really well written and the story was brilliant from start to finish.
