I know, it's bad manners to show up uninvited but I knew you were having a bad day and I come bearing dinner and ice cream for later. Or, you know, ice cream first if that will make you feel better. I don't know any problem that Chunky Munky and Cherry Garcia can't solve.

Adelaide had donned her white shirt and black shorts with pride at the beginning of her shift. Her hair looked good, she was feeling especially friendly, and she was in the mood to be nice and take orders. Moving to the most recently occupied booth in her area, she picked up the menu and headed there. "Hello. Welcome!" Her country accent was still embedded in her voice, Louisiana hadn't worn off just yet... "My name is Adelaide and I'll be your waitress for the night. What can I get you to drink?"
