“ seriously toothless ? we’re still doing this ? now ? ” henrik muttered to himself lowly as he stalked around the halls of sherwood. he knew his cat had a penchant for getting up to mischief, but this was quite frankly getting ridiculous. he didn’t have time to go on a wild chase every time his furry friend decided exploring was better than napping that day - he had actual work to be doing. “ buddy, i swear i’m shipping you back to dad if i don’t find you in the next 30 minutes ”

the issue thus far hadn’t necessarily been finding him - he’d managed to spot the bastard a few times, soothing his nerves that toothless was actually lost - but finding him and catching him was proving problematic. boasting only one fully functioning leg, henrik was’t exactly very quick on his feet - foot. letting out his breath in one big whoosh, he tried his best to drop his grimace.

“ hi ! ” henrik introduced as brightly as he could, intercepting the nearest person who passed him. he really hoped he didn’t sound as awkward and stressed out as he actually was. “ weird question for you - seen a cat around ? fluffy, black, missing about - ” he shrunk his fingers down to a rough approximation “ this much of his tail ? an undeniable spark of evil in his big green eyes ? ”

We discovered SCUBA today! And we learned that Kids Don't Float, so practiced being safe by properly wearing our life jackets in the water. Also, the chilly water didn't stop these kids from swimming all afternoon!
