today on ‘am i projecting or is this actually a solid headcanon’: percy has a rainbow lego chewy necklace. before he got it, nothing was safe. hoodie strings, pen caps, headphone cables... you name it. at the start he’s embarrassed about it, but it looks inconspicuous enough to keep it around his neck in public and it’s much better than putting things in his mouth that really don’t belong there.
