#adhd understimulation

This just in: today's ADHD episode of "if I'm not doing something, I'm understimulated and/or worried" resulted in the decision to learn Greek on a whim. We are now at a basic level of French and I've got a couple sections of the first lesson? level? of Greek finished on Duo Lingo. (It's surprisingly easy! I highly recommend it! 10/10 experience!)

Turns out when I don't have homework, I give myself homework because I've become just a little too accustomed to the school system.

I am bored.

I want to do something.

Nothing sounds interesting enough.

There is nothing I want to do.

I can’t deal with this feeling so I play phone games for three hours.

I try to do work because I’m not enjoying anything anyway.

I don’t do the work.

I scroll through instagram and tiktok for two hours.

I decide I want to eat something.

I can’t decide what to eat.

I wait for a while and I’m not hungry anymore.

I check the time.

It is late.

I should go to sleep because nothing is interesting anyway.

But I should actually do my work because I haven’t gotten any work done today.

But I should really try to have fun because I haven’t enjoyed anything today either.

The decision paralyzes me.

I play phone games for another hour and a half.

I make a post on the tumblr.

I watch an episode of the office. I don’t enjoy it.

I try to work even though it is 1:30 am.

I fail.

I scroll through instagram and tiktok for another two hours.

This is my whole day.

I have adhd.

I am understimulated.

Currently adhd bored and trying to play video games on both my phone and my computer at once.
