Prequel Jedi ladies 🥰
Yall the Star Wars The Living Force Novel is so funny its like the Jedi Council version of Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure.
Depa is an uncover spy admist a group of pirates trying not to get herself killed and Mace is worried af.
Oppo Rancisis is communing with a giant fish and living his best mermaid life.
Plo Koon is trying to get Saesee Tiin to actually give a fuck about anything besides fixing starships while starting a workers revolt.
Adi Gallia and Yoda are dealing with political bs and Adi is board out of her mind.
Yareel Poof is living for the vibes only my man is a comedian.
And this all started because Qui Gon and Obi Wan were like damn we should really be like helping people instead of catering to politicans. And then the council has theyre little debate and are like yes lets go on a little beach vaycay to a closed jedi temple and actual get out of the fucking house. And theyre all like damn we really are shut ins.
He certainly would...

I wanted to look at some alternate, underrated Jedi master options for Luke and Leia. I get why so many people tend to place them with Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Mace, and Yoda, but I think there's a LOT of interesting options for Luke and Leia that tend to get overlooked in favor of just pairing them with people connected to Anakin or the two most powerful Jedi characters.
Going by the Kenobi show, Leia's Force sensitivity appears to primarily manifest as CHARACTER JUDGMENT, an ability to innately sense people's emotions (the maturity and the ability to connect the emotions with motives behind it are things I'd attribute to training from the Organas, and not something inherent to her or something connected to her Force sensitivity).
So for Leia, I'd go more for characters like Adi Gallia, Shaak Ti, and Luminara Unduli.
Adi Gallia is, I believe, the official Jedi liaison with the Senate (I'm not honestly sure which source this comes from and if it's still part of Disney canon or not, but it's showed up in a number of fics, so I assume it was in some sort of reference book or novel somewhere), and I like keeping Leia connected with her canon political roots. From what we see of Adi in TCW, she's pretty level headed, even when dealing with typical Skywalker and Kenobi shenanigans, so I think she'd be a pretty good balance for Leia.
Shaak Ti is sent to be the official Republic representative/liaison on Kamino, and while a lot of people seem to reduce her time on Kamino to her being "clone mom," that's not actually her primary responsibility or role while she's there. Shaak Ti is possibly equally as good at politics as Adi Gallia or at minimum considered extremely good at diplomacy, and I think Leia would learn a lot from her. I also feel like Shaak Ti's understanding of the Jedi being about how the individual and the group are one and the same might resonate well with Leia.
Luminara doesn't have a political connection, but her episode with Anakin on Geonosis does showcase her strength in emotional regulation and character judgment, as well as an ability to stay calm and reasonable against irrational accusations, all things I think Leia would respond well to. In that same episode, Luminara also shows that she's built a good, strong, healthy relationship with her student and knows how to give her tasks that will both challenge her and still play to her strengths. Luminara also clearly has a friendly relationship with Anakin (mostly) and an appreciation for his and Obi-Wan's more unorthodox or reckless antics, which would likely pair well with Leia's own antics, while still helping to provide a balance to it.
As per the OT, Luke's Force sensitivity seems to have manifested very similarly to Anakin's own, as something more physical like good reflexes that assist him in things like piloting and shooting.
So I think he'd probably pair well with someone like Plo Koon or Saesee Tiin, who are both notable for being exceptional pilots (equally as good if not better than Anakin, Obi-Wan's personal opinion on it be damned). Both Plo and Saesee are Council members and an ability to remain calm in a crisis, something Luke would need. We also see Plo being good when he's in charge of Ahsoka temporarily, as well as managing to get through to Anakin a little when he's spiraling emotionally, so I think he'd be able to manage Luke's attitude well.
You could also easily pair Luke with someone like Kit Fisto, I think, who has a positive sunny demeanor and a quick wit, but is still an exceptional fighter and a wise mentor. I think Luke's relationship with Kit could end up similar to what we see between him and Han, just with less cynicism. I also just personally find it kind-of fun to pair a character who is well known for having grown up on a desert in canon with a character who's an aquatic species.
Another fun choice for Luke would be Aayla Secura, who is compared to Anakin in terms of recklessness in TCW, but who also clearly shows a lot of tolerance towards other people's views and a willingness to let go when she needs to. She'd easily be able to keep up with Luke and even encourage some of his antics, but also know when to hold him back and encourage him to slow down and think things through in order to best achieve his goals.
Me before watching the rereleae of ROTS: I've watched Order 66 countless times, I'll be fine!
Me, in the cinema, trying to hide ny tears: Master Adi was lOOKING FOR SURVIVORS WHEN THE ORDER HIT, YOda felt their deaths! Fuck!
