“What have we done?”

Alec glances back up at her, bright yellow gloved hands cover her mouth as she tries smothering her giggles.  He folds his lips, containing laughter of his own because he really wants to deliver his joke seriously.“A favor to humanity, Adi. That’s what we’ve done.”Then he laughs, falling back into the snow, leaning back.  He feels the cold through his jeans and recalls just how much he despises the cold.  It doesn’t seem to affect her, though.  Adi, bright and warm, laughs and bounces on her heels, like a bundle of sunshine.  He reminds himself to send her all the songs related to the word, including Pocket of Sunshine.  She’d probably get a kick out of it.  She plops next to him in the snow, sighing out with a huge grin on her face.  He turns back to the beautiful creation they had made with great pride.  One of the better ones he’s ever made.  “Will you take a picture of Dom’s face the moment he sees it?”“Of course!  Oh—oh, Dom’s going to hate it.”“That’s the point, Adi.”“I thought the point was to have fun…”“That too.  But mostly to piss him off.”He dodges the snowball directed to his face and laughs rather loudly.  “Kidding!”The snowman stood about six feet tall with a rather large middle.  Adila had done the honors of attempting to sculpt abs onto it but it just looked even more ridiculous.  In addition, it had one of Dom’s favorite scarves around its neck.  They couldn’t find any buttons, so they used rocks and sticks for props.  “It’s awful,” Adila giggles again.“Glorious, actually.”
