I’m glad that the universal consensus online seems to be that the NYPD are full of shit when it comes to this dude they arrested for the CEO murder. Everyone is calling it out for what it is: a brazen frame job to cover their asses after losing the real guy. They know the real guy won’t out himself, and the guy they’ve hooked for it is barely passable as the photo of the random guy they spread around earlier. They just want everyone to stop talking about it and what sucks is that’s more than likely what’ll happen. Just enough people are going to believe this coverup and think he’s really been arrested and they’ll lose interest.

It just kills me how they thought they could hide it so poorly. Like my guy ran circles around NYPD, ditched evidence all over the city, and we’re supposed to just believe that he’s not only carrying the gun on him but also a whole ass manifesto about why he did it on him at a random McDonalds? Not to mention that a McDonalds employee actually gave a shit to turn him in lol.

They didn’t even try to make it believable.
