Bryony was only going on the trip for the fun food and a long overdue trip to Tomes and Scrolls. She knew Coraline, one of her only friends and probably closest, had a date, so she knew this wouldn’t be a social trip for her. She walked into the shop, fully intending on heading to the romance section when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Coraline chugged water like firewhisky at a Rory Smith party, although that select morning it might have unwise for her to do so. It didn’t taste any different than the usual water served to them in the Great Hall, but it soon proved its affects were much more versatile. After cursing a bloody annoying first year, she’d made a beeline for the Gryffindor dormitory, but before she could reach the staircases she made impact with another, “Fuckin’ shite mate, watch where yer goin’ for Merlin’s sake! I could have decked ye if I wanted to!” she blurted coarsely.

If you ever heard about something going on in the night sky some night, you would absolutely find Jamie in the astronomy tower to watch it. Professor Mccoy had mentioned a meteor shower in astronomy the day before, and Jamie was not going to miss it. Once he reached the top, he opened his backpack to unroll a blanket onto the floor and took out his travel pillow. He sat down on the blanket and sighed happily before he heard someone coming up the ladder. There wasn’t really anywhere for him to hide, but it was dark, so he simply held still and tried to keep his breathing quiet. He hoped that if it was a prefect or professor, they simply wouldn’t see him. If it was neither, than maybe he’d have someone to watch the sky light up with.

She went all out on her Catwoman costume that night, and she knew that she was killing it. Skintight suit, mask, ears—not to forget, her signature red lipstick went well with the whole outfit. One could say that she was absolutely in her element. As she waited for Montague to go and get changed at the costumes station, she made her way to the open bar, flipping open the drink menu. “And what fancy Halloween drinks did Rory come up with this year?”

“For the last time, you would have to kill me before you get me in there,” Aaron asserted, pointing to the haunted house. “I’m not goin’. No way in hell.”

“Merlin, Lu better appreciate this...” Montague mumbled as he left the costume room. They had agreed to pick out each other’s costume, and Ludovica had chosen superman. He tried to work his way around it by simply showing up in a suit and his normal glasses claiming to be Clark Kent, but one look from her sent him into the costume room to change.

Now, he looked ridiculous.

He sighed, leaning against the wall, trying to make himself as inconspicuous as possible. He did not want some... well, most people to see him like this.

Having grown up in a far from normal family, Maude had never participated in Halloween festivities before coming to Hogwarts. Now, she loved it. Her french maid costume walked the line of taste and humour and she loved the attention and looks it warranted. This party was unlike any she had ever been to before. As if ‘party’ was even a suitable word to describe what this was. She was merely soaking it all up when someone bumped into her. Luckily she didn’t spill the pumpkin martini she carried in her hand. “Excuse you,” she couldn’t help but slur.

“So,” Halcyon said, “which mask is more me?” He quickly switched back and forth between an overly smiling blue mask and a purple mask that was heavily decorated (too decorated) with gold piping.
