leonard-hall:
Leonard wasn’t too much of a workaholic to stay up after the party to finish his assignments. He did, however, wake up two hours before he would usually get up to finish up three essays for a first, second, and fifth year before heading to class. Now, during his break, he was simply people watching, leaning against a wall in the hallway. He figured he could wait a few minutes before starting his next job.
So he saw the tired Ravenclaw drop his books, and Leonard could definitely relate to the look of disappointment on the other boys face. He walked over and picked up a few books before asking “You alright?”
Hugo let out a monosyllabic laugh in response. “Uh, yeah. Incapable of, um, carrying things, apparently. But not hurt -- well, except for my wounded pride,” he joked.
Another student being helpful was, admittedly, a little surprising for him, but he was still grateful. He took the rest of the books from the other. “Thanks.” he said, even adding a bit of a grateful smile. Looking at the stack of books again, Hugo was tempted to take a nap once he got the books back to his room instead of going to his next class.
