Positivity / New Year Tarot Readings!

Hey! Admin Bree and August here! We have decided to do some tarot readings!

we will be doing some positivity ones and some new years readings!

Bree will be using the Tarot Mucha deck and August will be using the Wild Unknown deck!

For the Positivity one

For the News Years one

After the first years are sorted, the 7th year thunderbirds wait a few hours until they are fast asleep. At around midnight they wake the first years up and sneak out with them and have a sort of scavenger hunt. At the end of the hunt they arrive at a camp ground with blankets and hot chocolate and a cozy fire. Some first years fall asleep immediately while the others stay up telling stories about their favorite places

7th year Thunderbirds making the youngins feel welcome and seem like all the places that the youngins have been to are exotic places. A pure blood would be “what’s a National Park?”, and a lot of befuddled gasps from the No-Maj born youngins would take over. 7th year Thunderbirds establishing themselves as leaders, people the youngins could talk to, and people to chaperone their escapades, hikes, camping, or outdoor learning experiences. I also believe that the 6th years would be in on it, but they're the ones who hike up ahead to set up the camp and make the hot chocolates

Here's a headcanon: Thunderbirds and secret Santa programs (I know it's march but it's never too early for Christmas headcanons)

Gift exchanges would include little protective charms, or enchanted objects. Like an on command self starting box of matches, or if you got someone you don’t like, maybe a box of fireproof matches. Newer purebloods would be like “You’re doing WHAT?” What is a “secret santa”, why is santa a secret? We know about santa"

Thunderbird Headcanon: Though they can be a little bit reckless, their innovation from stunts to exploring potion mixtures have led to some amazing discoveries in the wizarding world.

And probably a wizarding cure for ticks or Lyme Disease. Knowing the wizarding world for it’s weird names, they’re probably called “Muggle Bush Leaches”, Thunderbirds lovingly call them “Mubbles”, until someone comes along and says ‘wtf no, that’s a tick’

If a student at Ilvermorny transferred to Hogwarts, would they have to be sorted with the 1st years? Would they have to have a tutor to help them learn the things they may not teach at Ilvermorny?

I honestly believe that students and/or families wouldn't move during the 7 years of schooling. A wizarding family would probably move before, or after. A lot of pure blood families wouldn't move or transfer schools either, as their whole family legacy is centred around their school house/careers, see the Malfoys, and the Blacks. Sirius was the only Gryffindor, but all the rest of his family weren't, they were Slytherins. So for a magicial family to move, it'd have to be an extreme case, but they wouldn't move far/out of the country. 🌞 August

On the ilvermorny hp wikia, there are a lot of things on it, not included in the pottermore story, like native americans being involved. it may or may not be true information, but hopefully it is. (it won't let me post the link! ): )

This is true! First Nations people were and are a part of Ilvermorny history, when Isolt first opened the school, she had native and pilgrim students, and more experienced First Nations people who used magic traded their knowledge with Isolt and the children Isolt was teaching.
