It's not like him to miss a custom submission update, but to be honest, I haven't been able to find Shady for days! I just hope he isn't out doing anything stupid. Well, the least I can do for him is get the store updated. 

Also, I've got another code update for you today. Last night's unintended update was still missing a few key pieces that were needed on the backend, so we've added that code to the site. However, one crucial part of this update: all previous battles will need to be forfeited or you will likely find errors when trying to complete them. You can read the full report here.

Woo, time for some recolour updates!! Club? … Shady?? I guess they got held up at the gala and can't do the update themselves. Even Fray is nowhere to be seen. Strange, that! :) But never fear, Diana is here!

“Amethyst and baguette taste great together!” -Cyne, when asked if she likes dogs.

Here is Cyne, a scythe/bow legend!

Her scythe is named Beauté and her bow is Désespoir.

I’ll finish these sketches in the near future and release lore but for now here are her signatures!~

Beauté - Pink Crystals

Nsig: Cyne will grab diagonally with the blade of her scythe, crystallising the victim upon impact. Without any further input, Cyne will jump and kick them diagonally away from her. She can kick up or if the player turns around, she will throw them behind her and downwards.

Ssig: Cyne will throws herself and the scythe forward and it will return to the same position she started at like a boomerang. If it hits, it will grab one person and , where she will throw them forward with a crystal effect. It is a long signature that makes her vulnerable by staying in one place.

Dsig: Cyne spins the scythe around her once, crystallising the area, then spins it again the other way breaking the crystal.

Désespoir - Dark Violet Crystals

Nsig: Cyne shoots an arrow straight up. If it hits it crystallises the victim and she shoots another, weaker arrow at them.

Ssig: Cyne shoots an arrow straight ahead. If it hits, it will crystallise the victim and throw them forward. The player can also choose to throw them back towards her via backwards input

Dsig: Cyne jumps in the air and shoots an arrow diagonally down that causes a crystal explosion. Charging will slow her jump (sort of the way Cross’s nsig witn gauntlet charges)

As the story goes...

As monarchy fell in France, the Pierre royal family went into hiding when an elusive Highwayman began preying on the rich and elite. Cyne's mother gave Cyne an heirloom that allowed her to manipulate the earth beneath her feet before her mother fell victim to the Highwayman.

Cyne learned to master the scythe and bow that once belonged to her mother to take revenge on her nemesis, naming them by what she thought of her mother and what she felt in herself. Loneliness and lack of any friends as a child made her journey traversing France difficult and painful. Cyne had a plan to defeat her enemy. She allowed herself be captured by the Highwayman and unsheathed her scythe when he took her to his base. Cyne fought long and hard and emerged victorious, narrowly escaping a violent death but losing her eyes.

Cyne's hardship did not end with the death of her nemesis. The blood on her hands and the name that she bore made her a target for countless European bounty hunters. Time after time, however, Cyne rose above her enemies with flawless technique and an eccentric personality.

Arriving in Valhalla years later, Cyne felt like she could finally relax. She made friends with some of the other legends there, although she would change topics nearly every sentence. She entered the tournament to keep her skills sharp and to be overcome by nostalgia, but took time to herself in between battles to breathe free.
