Happy veterans day!!! Even though my dad didn't have off today, since he's a teacher, he is still been an amazing influence in my life. From teaching me how to fight by punching me in the gut that one time, to giving me a love of learning from all the stories he has told me, I know I wouldn't be the person I am today without him. Even though the military gave him a lot, he also sacrificed so much in his time in the army. And I know that in part it was so people back home in America could be safe. I know I cant follow in his footsteps the way I wanted to, but that doesn't mean I cant help people the same way he did. And I hope to make a difference the same way he did one day.
