However no one ever seems to see his face
Only his members and his closest allies know what he looks like
It’s how he manages to avoid rivals and the police
You are a local teacher
Loved by the community for how dedicated and caring you are
A hidden gem in a harsh world really
You two cross paths by accident
You had gone out to dinner with your family to celebrate a raise
Namjoon had been dragged to the same restaurant by Jin claiming they needed a break from work.
You accidentally bump into him walking back to your table.
He helps stabilize you before you fall and can’t help but stare
You are the most beautiful thing he’s ever laid eyes on
You both apologize but the conversation ends there as you immediately leave to go back to your table.
Namjoon can’t stop thinking about you
He enlists the help of Taehyung and Jimin to learn more about you
He knows he’s invading your privacy but he can’t help it
Starts appearing randomly at places where he knows you’ll be
Obviously you eventually notice something odd
You approach him one day and he has some clever excuse about it all being a coincidence.
Probably makes a joke about fate
You don’t believe him but go with it anyway
You finally introduce yourselves and actually start getting to know each other
You realize that he’s actually pretty charming
Namjoon ends up falling for you more
He asks to take you to dinner and you agree
Namjoon almost overdoes it trying to impress you
You quickly realize he’s also very clumsy
But it’s cute so you don’t comment on it
You two soon start a relationship
He can’t be around as often as he wants because of work but makes up for it with fun dates and lots of affection when he can
He tries his hardest to keep the mafia hidden from you
He doesn’t want you to get scared or hurt if a rival finds out about you
Every time you ask he says he’s a businessman
Won’t go into detail about what he does
Never lets you visit at work
Even has the members in on his little lie
You get along with most of the members
Especially Taehyung though
You two bond over your love of kids
Tae is the one who accidentally reveals the mafia business to you
At first you think he’s joking but the worried look tells you everything
You feel betrayed but also shocked at the news
Either way you’re upset so you immediately confront Namjoon
He admits to everything
You two end up arguing and you storm out, demanding he leave you alone
You don’t know what to think so you avoid him
Namjoon is heartbroken
He sends you millions of presents with hand written notes, songs, explanations, apologies, and declarations of love
You have drawers filled with his letters and your phone is blowing up with texts and calls
You’re conflicted at what to do
Even if you forgave him could you really be with him?
The man you love is the most feared criminal boss in the nation
Though he’s also still the same man showering you with affection
Now you have to decide if you want to cut all ties or go back to him
The choice is yours.
