We’d like to address all the things that have happened in this Selection (considering that it hasn’t really even started yet). We know that there’s been a lot of trash-talking of us and claiming that “we’re supposed to be a professional source”. We also notice how other magazines can do the same without being called provocative. We know that other magazines have different interests such as gossip, but we never stated ours. Our magazine isn’t focused on one thing, it’s supposed to just be an overall coverage of the Selection with hints of sass. We have messed up before but we really don’t appreciate that anything we do now is being attacked. Doing this was supposed to be a fun thing for us, some fun being added to the Selection. This is now giving us a lot of stress and anxiety from you guys attacking us at any chance you get. We're trying our best to interview 30 girls, spend tons of time creating an aesthetically-pleasing magazine, update the website, and add some sass and excitement to us, but clearly we can’t do that. We have 1 admin juggling a lot of these responsibilities herself. Another one of our admins has taken a break to take care of herself because she feels as though the entire Selection and the people in it aren’t doing anything well for her mental state. Would you do the same things if you weren’t on anonymous? Please consider that. Having this Selection as anon is a good idea and fun, but we’d like to address the fact that some of that power is being abused. We’ve been accused of racism which none of us were aiming at. And of course, we’re expecting some hate or excuses from this post but we’d just like to let you guys know this. Please consider we are 3 humans behind screens, trying to please you guys while receiving backlash and hate. Our inbox is being piled up with messages we didn’t ask for. That’s all we have to say on this. Thank you.
