hello! since halloween is approaching i wanted to organize an event for my rpg. last year we did a sort of scavenger hunt event, but for this year i'm completely out of ideas! do you have any suggestions for an event that could be a little interactive (that is to say, i would rule out stuff like a masquerade ball)? thank you so much in advance!

I think it depends also on the type of rpg you have. However, I think something like a Frights Fest would be fun for any roleplay! Kind of like Halloween Horror Nights. It could include all sorts of things.

little tasks interacting with certain horror characters (that can be lingering around outside the perimeter; and it can put on by everyone if they wish to; or completely npc too) that earns them candy! and whoever has the most by the end of the night could earn some type of prize.

schedule mini events (like a dance hall, games, rides, haunted houses)

everyone being required to wear a costume (maybe even giving best/worst costume awards at the end) but it doesn’t need to be a secret who is what.

maybe a parade that everyone takes part in creating floats

trick or treat stations

fireworks

a murder mystery dinner

Generate a character!!!

So my co-admin just sent this to me, and I thought I’d post this out for the community to use. Whether you’re making an OC and need help, or you’re doing a full RPG cast, this is pretty awesome...it gives you FCs, traits, sexualities, genders, occupations, headcanons...could be a lot of fun and a great resource for people to use. I think it’s slightly restrictive (it only has two transgender FCs) but it’s a great start, and very inventive work. Good job, creator!
