Work dilemma

Went to work expecting the worse; no medical certificate (a drama on its own) and wasnt exactly in the BEST of all moods lol. "10 shifts, 9 times your there, its exceptional; but I think 10/10 is better" is what my good guy manager said to me. Did my daily dues and realised that the manager was having dinner with his mum and dad who were staying in house (I work at.run the restaurant at a hotel). This one guy, you wouldnt know how much he puts into this place by looking at what he does and wear lol
