Ok so I straight up can't use youtube on my computer anymore without disabling all my extensions. Ublock breaks it, Adnauseum breaks it, the other privacy/anti-tracker extensions I had (but have since removed) broke it too.
Anyone have any thoughts?

btw, for people whose youtube on desktop is still broken - adnauseum seemed to be the culprit for me. ublock origin works perfectly fine on there, as does youtube search fixer and return youtube dislikes.
A browser extension that clicks on every blocked ad to fight advertising surveillance.
"As online advertising becomes ever more ubiquitous and unsanctioned, AdNauseam works to complete the cycle by automating ad clicks universally and blindly on behalf of its users. Built atop uBlock Origin, AdNauseam quietly clicks on every blocked ad, registering a visit on ad networks' databases. As the collected data gathered shows an omnivorous click-stream, user tracking, targeting and surveillance become futile. Read more about AdNauseam in this paper.
AdNauseam is a free browser extension designed to obfuscate browsing data and protect users from tracking by advertising networks. At the same time, AdNauseam serves as a means of amplifying users' discontent with advertising networks that disregard privacy and facilitate bulk surveillance agendas.
AdNauseam joins a broader class of technical systems that attempt to serve ethical, political, and expressive ends. In light of the industry's failure to self-regulate or otherwise address the excesses of network tracking, AdNauseam allows individual users to take matters into their own hands, fighting back against unilateral surveillance. Taken in this light, the software follows an approach similar to that of TrackMeNot, employing obfuscation as a strategy to shift the balance of power between the trackers and the tracked. For further information on this approach, please see this paper."

I have a growing list of websites I never visit anymore because the ads have taken over like a zombie apocalypse. Auto-loading videos, animated graphics everywhere you look, page text that shifts up or down, interrupting reading so that the ads can display properly and you can't miss them, and more - it's past the saturation point.
On top of that, I've not only long been in the phase of life where I avoid advertising whenever and wherever possible, I'm game for a little fightback. How do we shift the cost of the ad business back onto the business of advertising? Some digital monkey-wrenching is in order.
AdNauseum Ad Blocker
Has anyone used the AdNauseum Ad Blocker for Firefox? Got any opinions about it?
AdNauseam not only blocks ads, it obfuscates browsing data to resist tracking by the online ad industry. To throw ad networks off your trail AdNauseam “clicks” blocked and hidden ads, polluting your data profile and injecting noise into the economic system that drives online surveillance. The interactive AdVault allows you to visualize and explore the ads that AdNauseam has captured.

Confuse Google Ads With The AdNauseum Firefox/Opera/Chrome/Chromium Derivatives Extension To Obfuscate Browsing Advertising Data
As online advertising becomes ever more ubiquitous and unsanctioned, AdNauseam works to complete the cycle by automating ad clicks universally and blindly on behalf of its users. Built atop uBlock Origin, AdNauseam quietly clicks on every blocked ad, registering a visit on ad networks' databases. As the collected data gathered shows an omnivorous click-stream, user tracking, targeting and surveillance become futile (that's the theory anyway).
So this works similarly to the Firefox extension TrackMeNot, and the AdNauseum website also links to a paper that explains further how the obfuscating should be effective.
Note though this extension is not in the Google Chrome store, so you need to install it separately along with whatever risks that can entail. I see the extension is open source on Github so it is possible to examine the code if you wish.

I have apparently cost advertisers $891.12 this year through the AdNauseum browser extension. Amazing.
