March 2017 Bruce is a just a big lap dog! Such a gentle large boy, Bruce just wants to be with his human family as much as possible and is a house trained inside dog that loves cuddles and is also an excellent guard dog with natural protective instincts. Bruce would be ideally matched with children he can play with and learn from as he's still young. Alternatively, he would be the ideal dog for a single woman or young couple that have the time to train him. He's such a loving boy that when napping with his foster mum, he likes to hold her in his front legs in a loving and protective way! He would benefit from further obedience training as he's eager and able to learn. He doesn't like caged birds, but is great with other dogs and a cat in his foster home. Bruce has been well socialised with plenty of other dogs. Fine with children and needs to be an inside dog. Bruce has his own bed and will happily sleep in that. With a big smiling face and a handsome stripy coat, Bruce is a very happy and loving dog who wants his forever home. If interested in adopting this boy, please directly contact his foster carer: Joycey Webster E: [email protected] M: 0403 064 341 I will send you an adoption application form and am able to discuss any queries about him- as well as organise a meet and greet with this fabulous dog who wants nothing more in life than a home for himself.
URGENT NEED TO REHOME

Cat who walked 12 miles back home, only to be rejected, finds ‘furever’ home with new family
Cats are loving animals and when they find a home, they will always go back no matter what the circumstances are. This mirrors the story of Toby, a stray cat who walked 12 miles back to his family that gave up on him. Toby found this family when he was looking for a home but they decided to give him away because they thought Toby didn’t get along with the other cats.

Why You Should Adopt an Older Pet
When we think about adopting a pet, often the first thing that comes to mind is adopting a puppy or a kitten. They’re so adorable and usually win over our hearts. But the pets who need us the most are the seniors, the ones who have ended up in shelters or foster care because of family...
