#adopt strays

My constant work companion :). He's 8 years old, and was found by a friend in a trash bin when he was just a kitten. The kindest, most loving cat I've ever had, and our dog Baba's unofficial father - when she was just a puppy, he taught her to fight and play, and now that she is twice his size, they are always together.

I did not want to be awake at 3:30 am with two dogs outside tied together

(which is really just animal jargon for "stuck together because when dogs mate the guy's penis inflates and then they're just stuck for the next 2-60 minutes")

while looking up information on dog abortions and emergency spays

while my sister sighs and tries to get them to be quiet and worries about how much more money it's going to cost her while she looks for people to adopt these dogs

as well as how to handle these two for the next week while the girl finishes heat

oh good at least they're unstuck now

but oh good lord it's nearly 4 am and I've worked out far too much these past two days to look forward to feeling any sort of restful tomorrow based on the likely amount of sleep I'm going to get tonight
