Meet Dean Hoff, our VP of Animation Production!

“Having grown up watching Nick as kid in the 80’s, it’s an amazing dream come true to be apart of the magic for the next generations of kids. My wife and I adopted both of our children as infants. From the moment we first saw them, they have always been “our kids.”  We brought them home from the hospital and they have made our family who we are ever since.  My daughter, now 14, and my son, now 7, do not know life without Nickelodeon. They have grown up at the studio, learning to walk in the halls of the studio, attending annual events, being adopted as surrogate children by many friends, artists and staff in the studio, and always having all of the bagels and candy they can eat, every time they visit. I’m not sure what growing up at an animation studio will do to a child, as they will definitely have a much different upbringing then I had. I’m hoping they turn out better for the experience. Seeing the world through their eyes always keeps me focused on our audience and remaining a kid-at-heart at work. All I know is that it takes a village to raise a child, and I can’t think of a greater village, with better friends and family, then Nickelodeon, to raise my children in.”
