When a human takes a life, the soul of their victim is owned by them when they die if that soul also goes to hell. This is why Alastor was so powerful from the moment he arrived in Hell, because as a serial killer almost all of his victims ended up there with him, and he received power from each of their souls.
This also means that the Hunter who shot Alastor is the one who owned his soul. Whether Alastor then killed him to free himself or not is up to you.
Screw it, I'm never gonna actually write this. So here, fanfic idea for anyone interested in writing it. I've been holding onto it since I was like 16 or 17 and I'm in my 20s now. Someone else can write it.
Adopting it, you can do what you want with it. But this is all I’ve personally thought up for it:
So it'll start with Percy and Nico being adults, they're married, they're happy.
Then Nico gets a prophecy and he leaves to do the quest.
But when he finally comes back via shadows, he's halfway dead and beyond saving, having used the last of his strength because he didn't want to part from someone he cared for without telling them goodbye.
A month or two goes by, it's the day after Nico's funeral, and Percy is sitting in their room, still in shock that his husband is dead.
There's a knock at the door, he ignores it. Once, twice, gone.
Then Aphrodite appears in front of him, startling him, saying something along the lines of "Well, I WAS trying to be polite but that apparently wasn't an option."
Before Percy can shoo her off, she tells him there's a pocket of Kronos's powers only she knew about and she's willing to give it to Percy so he can go back and save Nico. Not out of kindness, but because it's basically like a movie having a shitty ending to her and she wants to fix it.
He ends up accepting, but gets thrown too far back, to when he was 12 in the Lotus Hotel & Casino.
He realizes what's happening, tries to find Grover and Annabeth like last time. But on his search, he bumps into a young boy asking if Percy's seen his sister, and saying everyone’s being weird and saying it’s different years. And Percy feels just a wave of emotion remembering how Nico looked back when they had first met.
But then he’s confused because this hadn’t happened last time he was here.
He helps Nico find Bianca, Bianca doesn’t trust Percy but her and Nico agree to follow him because he’s the only one with some sense of normalcy compared to everyone else. They help him find Annabeth and Grover, who once finally out of the Casino are confused at the two new kids, but Grover senses that they’re demigods.
This time, Percy knows his mother is alive and Hades has her, but on top of remembering he has his helmet, he now has 2 of Hades’ kids. So he doesn’t know what to do there (In other words: I don’t know)
Then when he gets to Olympus, all the gods acknowledge the time change. They want to just strike Percy then and there, but know he’s the prophecy child, and aren’t risking putting Nico or Bianca in that place because at least Percy is mostly guaranteed for them.
So another thing is that this time around there’s no Hunters of Artemis around to pull in Bianca. So she sticks with the trio and Nico at CHB. Whether her destiny is to die or not is up to whoever adopts this.
And with Bianca alive, or at least having a more settled life for him to properly mourn, Nico might end up living life differently.
Nico cautiously opens up to Percy about liking guys (Specifically in the scene where Nico popped into Percy's apartment window and was invited in for cake), and by TLO they’re a couple.
In HoO, when Percy loses his memory, all he recalls is a skull ring and that it belonged to someone he cared about. When he gets to Camp Jupiter, he just senses he knows Nico, and it’s amplified by the fact Nico has that same ring. But Nico, knowing he can’t reveal too much, pretends Percy has the wrong guy.
When Percy finally remembers, he embraces Nico, but stops when he remembers Nico’s closeted still.
Story goes on mostly as normal, but with more of the two together and Percy thinking about their future and how to protect him.
Due to Nico’s fears, they keep their relationship secret aside from Grover and Sally. But then the Cupid scene happens, and Nico tells Jason about his and Percy’s relationship. Jason is supportive.
When they all meet again, Jason lets Percy know that he knows and that he’ll keep them secret.
By the end, instead of the “You’re not my type” talk, it’s instead “I think I’m ready for the world to know.”
And it’s Annebeth being the surprised one (Unless you want to include her in the few people who knew)
Stuff goes on as normally, ToA happens, they’re somewhat long-distance except when Nico sneaks out via shadow travel to see Percy. Adult life comes around, they move in together, get married, and this time around have a surrogate kid.
But the day is closing in, the day Percy has been dreading since he went back to the Lotus. And when it finally comes, he begs and pleads for Nico not to follow the prophecy, who’s about to put his foot down. But then he exposes the truth, how this wasn’t the first life they’d lived, how this wasn’t the first time they were there. And how Nico was going to die.
And at this point, Nico knows what’s going to happen, the quest isn’t going to stop just because he said no. And he would’ve walked out the door anyways despite Percy’s protest because at least his death will keep them safe, if their kid hadn’t overheard everything and now knew their dad/step-dad was going to die.
This was the point where my brain also pooped. Does Nico die anyways? Do the dangers come to their home instead? If so, could that lead to a sequel/just continue where they go to save their kid? Or does it conclude around here? Because there WILL be consequences to them majorly defying fate. And probably some consequences from Percy using a speck of Kronos’ power.
So feel free to do with this as you want. I have so much thought out but I’ll never actually write it.
I also have other ideas I’ll never actually write myself, but I’ll talk about those some other time.
So a while ago I posted this little lady I called “Kit-tea”. She is a tea infuser who can easily fit her body in a tea pot while her tail can be set in a single tea cup if you don’t want that much ^^
Well, I had an idea for her to have kittens of different colors which will be the size of her tail at first. They would be about $5 and genderless for when you adopt them. If anyone is interested in this, let me know and I will make up some to show for you to chose. Or, maybe I will do some custom ones, though for mixed colors will take longer to make for me. Most will be solid colors.
Like I said, let me know if this is a good idea and I will do it ^^
Edit: They will have different poses and even themes if you want.
Another AU that's up for adoption, because I like the idea, but don't have the brainpower to do anything but a couple of doodles for it.
Amnesia!Exorcists
Basically: Exorcists were members of Lillith's rebellion against heaven, but with their memories wiped.
Lilith WAS indeed staging an uprising against Heaven, with an army of demon's under her.
To prevent them from attacking a deal was made with Adam, which Lucifer agreed to to, to Allow Lillith and all her followers into heaven.
Lillith agreed, but some of her followers were secretly planning to take down heaven from the inside.
However, heaven had anticipated that, and once they arrived in heaven, all of Lilith's followers had their memories wiped, and became the exorsists.
Not being winners, their appearances changed once in heaven. Sera was surprised when they gained halos, but the halos were black, signalling that they were still damned by their sins.
Everyone's memories of the exorcist's past lives also are affected. People do not remember them, and are unable to recognise them when meeting them again. However, day ja vu and confusion is very common for people who interact with them and used to know them. When trying to think of of past, others remember things they did, but not the person they did it with, or what happened to them.
Technically the angels hands are clean, since it would be demon's killing demon's, using power gifted by the Angel's. Meaning that Sera and heaven don't technically have blood on their holy hands
Lucifer was tricked by the wording of the deal. Being naive, and already upset that Lillith was leaving him, he didn't think of the repercussions. The contract stated that he wasn't to intervene against Heaven doing whatever they chose to stop another rebellion from happening
Heaven's method to prevent another uprising from happening involved killing Sinners every year so they couldn't make another united front against them.
Since he'd already made the deal, Lucifer was powerless to stop it, and too ashamed to tell Charlie what really happened that day. That he was tricked, and her mother who she admired so much, had left them for a chance at a better life in heaven.
Which is part of why he spirals into depression. Guilt, hurt, and being ashamed. Then after some time, he felt too awkward, and convinced himself that Charlie must hate him for leaving her to deal with her mother's disappearance alone.
Character information:
Vaggie was an Overlord known for helping sinners ruthlessly take over territory in a very war-like manner. She often was involved with collaborations and deals with Camillia Carmine.
Lute was a hellborn from wrath, who ran a league of assassins. She idealized Lilith, and the way she controlled and inspired so many sinners into action, so jumped at the chance to work with her and help mobilise an army against Heaven. However, she was often too ruthless and violent for Liliths tastes.
Alastor was a sinner who took the opportunity to side with Lillith shortly after his death, to get power as quickly as possible. Possibly even making a soul contract with her.
He recruited powerful demon's into Lilliths army, by persuasion, force, or deals made. Some were killed, by him or by Lillith, but a lot were recruited for her army.
Niffty was a sinner who worked at Lillith's Palace before the Queen disappeared, who Alastor adopted into the group of sinners he had collected. He doesn't own her soul, they just have a mutually beneficial agreement between them.
Husk was supposed to be recruited for Lilith's army, but Alastor instead decided to keep him as a thrall instead, since he was very useful, being able to read people so accurately.
Had some questions about the Radiostatic Vampire/Human AU on discord, so thought I'd post them here too incase anyone was interested
Again, this AU is up for grabs just tag me if you use it because I wanna see ^^ This means anyone can use these ideas, pick and choose what to use or discard if you do anything with it. These are just some ideas I had.
I might draw up some designs for this au later.
More info:
Obsessive stalker Vox trying to find Alastor is bordering on insanity, He's been searching for years and only just getting some leads.
The other Vees are annoyed at him, but also worried.
Velvette thinks Alastor is in a cult. She never met him, but gets that vibe from what she's seen and heard from the other two.
Valentino thinks Alastor is a serial killer because of all the disappearances when he shows up. He always gave him the creeps the few times they met. They hated eachother.
Vox probably eventually tracks Alastor down via Husk or Rosie, since they're more in the public eye. He probably also becomes very jealous of Rosie since Alastor keeps in contact with her and not him
He had no idea when they were friends about Alastor being a vampire
Alastor also doesn't need to kill, he can feed off people and leave them alive. He just enjoys the hunting and killing of his prey as a form of sport.
Humans hunt animals for sport and food, and Alastor is a step above humans, so why would there be a difference?
Vampires are able to make people not remember when they feeds off them, either a low-level hypnosis or maybe a venom that causes short-term memory issues
Alastor was probably feeding off Vox the whole time they were friends. Whether long term use of memory alterations or hypnosis affected Vox is unknown
The reason he didn't kill Vox could be either he was useful in some way. Or he was a target to kill, but Alastor realised that he'd be missed, therefore more chance of him getting caught.
Mimzy might be an old friend that Alastor turned into a vampire to save her life, so feels partly responsible for her when she comes to him for help.
Husk Q&A Under the cut
What does Husk being a familiar mean?
So, my basis/reference for vampire familiars are based on 2 different fandoms. 1 The saga of Darren shan books, and 2 the movie Renfield.
Basically, familiars are half-bloods. A vampire gives them enough of their blood to grant them abilities, but not enough to turn them into a vampire themselves. This meams they don't need to drink blood and aren't affected by daylight, they live as an enhanced human, but still need human fuctions ie. Food, drink, temprature control ect. To survive.
My idea was Husk was a human who was tricked/persuaded into making a blood pact to become Alastors familiar, because Alastor needed someone to work for him who could operate in the day and take care of little task for him.
Is he a shapeshifter? / Does he have cat qualities?
This is up to anyone who wants to do something with it honestly, I don't have much ideas involving this. He needs to be human passing to do his job, but shape-shifting could also be good/useful too. Could also have Alastor being able to transform into a bat, like some of the vampire lore to tie it in why he'd have these abilities.
How did he end up that way?
Alastor probably stalked him a bit first, saw qualities that he found useful/appealing, and then made Husk an offer. Husk probably didn't know the full weight of what he was agreeing too, but understood enough to agree.
I see Husk as a loner, no friends or family that are close to him, probably still having his gambling and drinking issues ect. So he had nothing to lose and more to gain by accepting a deal from someone like Alastor.
I considering doing some monster adoptables where I design a little monster character based on a color palette and type of monster chosen by the customer. Then when the design is done, the customer can use that design as theirs. The designs would be kinda simple so I don’t have to charge so much (and maybe more people would be interested in buying one.)
Last night I had a fleeting dream of a poem connected to the Legends crew, spaced over a set of posters, so I wanna write down the idea here before I lose it.
The poem was:
Heros get remembered,
But Legends never die.
Though Fate may try to chain me,
In darkness I will shine.
My past does not define me;
Now is my time to rise.
The idea is a set of posters, one for each line of the poem.
Heros get remembered
transposed over an image of Martin and Jax, facing each-other, clasping hands or arms as if to merge, but with solemn expressions. Behind them, the ghost of Ronnie, mid-turn towards the camera with a smile.
But Legends never die
transposed over an image of Sara, I think, looking appropriately fierce and ready for battle, her smile bold and sharp, while swirls of fire and blood circle yet cannot touch her.
Though Fate may try to chain me
Over an image of Carter, wings stretched out as he kneels, bound in chains but defiant to the last, as the shadow of Savage looms behind him,
In darkness I will shine
Over an image of Ray, smiling secretly, forever optimistic, the light in the dark, cupping a ball of pure starlight - since his armour is Dwarf Star Alloy, an allegory.
My past does not define me
transposed over Leonard and Mick, back-to-back with their weapons, but with heads bowed grim and pensive.
Now is my time to Rise
Over the image of Kendra, looking harmless, normal and innocent, while behind her the shadowed silhouette of her wings, the gleam of her battle armour, looms behind her.
Things I wish I had the mental patience or ability to complete: ALL OF THIS.
Unfortunately I couldn’t come up with a line that included Rip, but the focus is really on the team he put together, not him.
