The shelter treated him and adopted him out to a family. Gavin was able to get out of the home and was hit by a car, the family was not able to take him to a vet so they brought him BACK to the shelter with a mangled leg. The shelter amputated his leg. He has been at the shelter for almost two months. He is at risk now for euthanasia for being dog aggressive. He has been tested in a play group with helper dogs and was deemed dog aggressive. He ADORES all people and is a STAFF FAVORITE. Gavin has truly had a horrible life and @underdogalliance as well as the volunteers and shelter staff would like him to have the chance at a loving foster or forever home.
