11/8/17 @sitwithmerescue Introducing the most beautiful girl: Olivia! Olivia was a stray that had been spotted numerous times. A good samaritan set out a plan to catch her and successfully brought her in to the shelter. Olivia sends this wonderful person much thanks! Olivia is a lab/mastiff mix and is a sweetheart, eager to love, but after her days on the run (and her body tells the story of some neglect) she takes a brief moment before she leans in and cuddles. We are happy to give her that time because when she loves ya, you are IN! Olivia needs some vet attention to tend to her skin issues and will hopefully soon be looking for a loving home. Huge thanks and big welcome to Nik and Lynette who just joined up in time to care for this gentle girl! We’ll never forget this gorgeous girl Dalila who came into our lives as a foster in July 2020! Still grieving our beloved Lola who had passed in the May she warmed our hearts as she adjusted to her new life! A aged dog with a sad past she responded slowly to the love and pampering we showered her with! Dalila was deaf so her world was silent! It wasn’t long before her and Toscanini were firm friends! Toscanini also grieved his bestie Lola! Dalila enjoyed about 6 months of knowing she was loved and with serious health issues she finally succumbed on this day 2021! Auntie M (Maria) says that Presley had a good night and that he's settling in well in her home. This is a big change, so he's understandably a bit confused; but she's working with him to make him feel comfortable. Her cats are a bit put off by his presence, but he's had no reaction to them! Presley will be going to the vet soon for his intake and blood work. His former mom took such good care of this boy, so other than his seizures he's a very healthy guy. But we did notice a bit of hind end weakness that we want to have looked at.
