1. idea i wanted to write but never got the chance? oh a hades and persephone fic.
2. if my ofc met in an alternative universe who would get along and who wouldn’t? safiyya and fleur would get along. mia and nisha would be best friends. faye would want to be friends with fleur and safiyya but would be too scared. ditto for her wanting to be friends with miriam. miriam, mia, and nisha would be like the golden trio. serena would also be really good friends with mia. fleur and miriam are a no go. fleur will plot her death or something LOL.
3. who is my favorite ofc to write? all of them bro, i can’t pick a favorite. they’re all so DIFFERENT. mia is so stubborn, safiyya is so collected and reasonable, faye is just no thoughts head empty depressed, fleur is “if you look at my bf wrong, i’ll kill you” pyscho yet anti-men and emotionless often, serena is my sarcastic little bitch who is fearless as fuck, nisha is very independent and super artistic, and then miriam is just the happiest character i’ve ever written. she’s so bright and yellow, it’s blinding sometimes. it’s so fun getting into different moods for them all, i can’t pick one.
4. who is the hardest to write? nisha or serena because i think i’m building their characters

oh i have so many!!! but to name just a few off the top of my head, i’d say @stylesloveclub (because ira is so so talented and all of her pieces make me feel everything!!!), @havethetimeofyourstyles (because i literally LIVE for every time that jill posts something because i just know that it’s going to be amazing) @bopbopstyles (because everything that willa writes is SO detailed and i feel like i’m really there) @majorharry (because i’ve cried way too many times while reading cass’s fics) @stylesharrys (because sophie has a way with words that leaves me absolutely floored every time) @tbslenthusiast (because sham never EVER fails to amaze me with the pieces that she writes) @adashofniallandasprinkleoflunacy (because andrea simply cannot write anything that isn’t amazing) + so many more that i just simply don’t have the room to mention!! if i’ve literally every reblogged a piece of yours though, you’re included in this!!!

i enjoy both but present tense with flashbacks (if there’s any past tense) has to be my main choice when reading!!!

enemies to lovers definitely!!! and to lovers really but enemies to lovers is one that sticks with me!!!

completed normally, i like to be able to read the entire thing if i can so that there are no cliffhangers!

normally i just read one shots but it there are multi part fics or series that catch my eye, i love to give those a read!!
what’s something you’d love to see more of in fics?
i know that a lot of people say it, but just inclusivity. a lot of writers tend to write with a white focused y/n, even if they don’t mean to, and i’ve definitely found myself doing that at times because it’s just easier for me to write what i know, and as a white woman, that’s what i know. i’ve been trying to be more neutral with the characters, though, unless i’m writing for an oc. (so to anyone who reads my fics, if there’s something that makes it feel like it’s not inclusive, please let me know and i’ll edit it to be more neutral!! i don’t want anyone to feel excluded!!)
do you enjoy ofc fics or y/n fics? or both? why/why not?
i enjoy both personally!! i love y/n fics because i’ve trained myself to read my name so it feels like i’m there!! but i also really like oc fics because it feels like i’m reading an actual book instead of reading fanfiction!!
do you have any pet peeves in fics?
i feel like the only pet peeve that i really have and really wanna say something about it the fact that a lot of authors have y/n wear the main character’s (the person they’re writing the fanfic about) clothes. and while sometimes that’s okay (depending on what clothes are being worn), often, not everyone can see themselves wearing these people’s clothes. because like, take harry for example, he’s really fit and pretty skinny, so some people can’t see themselves wearing his t-shirts or anything like that. i’d say that’s one of the only things that really get to me (that i can think of atm), though.

favorite ofc to write: so far it’s been isla, but that’s probably in large part because I’ve spent more time with her than lu so far. I just love isla so much—more than I love niall sometimes, lol. I think she’s so strong, so funny, so loving, and so smart. I just adore her. I think about her a lot.
hardest to write: wf niall can be tough—it can be a little hard to imagine who niall would be without 1d, you know.
what would say niall and wf niall think about each other: this is SUCH a good question, holy shit! I think wf niall would be amazed at what say niall has achieved, first and foremost, and he’d want his advice and mentorship. I think he’d be surprised at how say niall treated isla in certain moments, like after greg’s wedding. he’d be surprised it took them so long to get their shit together, and he’d blame niall for it more than isla, for sure. say niall, I think, would feel super protective over wf niall—he knows what he wants, but he also understands the reality of the industry he’s trying to break into. he’d tell him not to be in such a rush to leave home, and to always remember where he came from and why it’s so important.
first inspiration behind say: I actually don’t remember what triggered it, but I know the idea came from talking with @horanandscorin at the beginning of the pandemic. all my texts got lost when I lost my phone lol but I sent her a voice note about how cool it would be to do a series of little one shots, strung together, about niall and The One Who Got Away. It was originally intended to be muuuuch shorter than it turned out to be. the idea was one chapter for every day of what would’ve been ntmy tour, to make up for the fact that tour had been cancelled.
first inspiration behind wf: i’ve actually been thinking about wf for way longer than say! I initially saw some cosmo article about this tiny cafe on a tiny island in ireland that was hiring and I was like “holy shit, this would be such a cute fic.” I talked to rand about that, too, and then she told me to watch the music video for for island fires and family, which was filmed on inis mor. it all came from there, but I didn’t feel ready to write it for a long time.
fave side character: Emilia in say, which, lol, we really summoned Niall’s Amelia, huh.
what motivates me the most: wanting to know what my characters do, tbh. i’m not much of a planner—I tend to just write and see what happens, so I love discovering while I go along.
when did I start writing fic: literally as a pre-teen. I think high school musical was my first, lol. jonas brothers fic was the first I posted, and then my parents found it and made me take it down LSAJKFASLADFS
three authors I admire: i’m not sure if you mean on here, or for books, but I can do both! two of my all time favorite writers are actually narry writers: queen jibrailis, who wrote my fave fic of all time, and jenna @merrystylans, who is one of the best writers I know. I also love @wowweeharrystyles who is a genius and such a dedicated writer, and @stylishmuser who is such a voracious writer and great at creating characters! off tumblr, some of my favorite authors are beth o’leary, sally rooney, and casey mcquiston, among many others.

1. the initial idea was based on a true-ish story that happened between two people in my academic department in college. she was a doctoral student, he was a professor, they met and fell in love!! it was very cute. the idea for barefoot in the park just came from always wanting to write an orchestra au, and i figured it’d be a neat one to turn into an enemies to lovers au!
2. i really love writing pdh mc. i also really love sofia from ‘you’ve woken up my heart’. the hardest... probably mc from barefoot in the park. it was hard to get into her head because she was such a combative, stubborn person and most of my mc’s are pretty easygoing
3. i think out of my ocs, pdh mc and sofia would probably get along the best. i think winnie would also get along with them.... i could see mona and rania getting along for some reason? and rania and bitp mc i think would not get along (idk if i got everyone lol)
4. my favorite side character is one from a story i don’t have posted anymore!

6. i write kind of scattered! i like to outline and start writing from the beginning, and if im feeling stuck on a transition and want to jump ahead to the next idea i have, i’ll do that or just write dialogue and go back and fill in the space
