through her periphery she sees her approach though her eyes remain trained on the axe she's sharpening. it's a nightly ritual she's come to enjoy , a moment to catch her breath and reflect in solitude. usually without interruption. no doubt , the crux of the warning -- but she finds lira in a patient mood this evening , willing to humor curiosity rather than reprimand it.

it would be easy to scent a champion. though manon---manon only saw this champion as that of a dragon killer. loathed deeply even before uttering a word. as she emerged from her beloved wyvern , her eyes seemed to look at the other with cold calculation. her words to follow do not match that. they were soft. invitingly dangerous. " warrior.
