Reflection - Week 2
Advanced Design For the web is a very interesting course, as it makes us look at art and colors from a different point of view.
During this week I started researching Fauvism, by looking at several samples of painting, and by reading some information about it. There were few secondary educational sources online that helped me in the process of understanding this type of paintings.
Moreover, we learned about different types of color theory which will help us understand the meaning and concept of using colors.
Furthermore, as part of color theory we have done two different color quizzes to test our ability to identify different colors and shades.
Lastly, we have analyzed Vincent van Gogh painting “The Starry Night”, and we applied some of the design matrix elements and principles to help us in the process of writing our research paper.
