low rumbling hiss echoes upon stone as she listens to the chamber doors open. how long has it been? a year? a decade? though she never did care much for time ( near immortal! ). the scent that comes is one that distinctly speaks of a girl ( interest peaked! ) and yet the voice is someone she knows far too well. ❝ look what gryffindor dragged in ❞ though she makes no attempt to come out of hiding quite yet. ❝ i never took you as someone to keep me waiting, tom. ❞ ( passive aggressive snek )
A life trapped between the pages of diarycould hardly be called a life—–and thus the diary had chosen tolatch onto the girl’s soul.
She was a splendid little thing, blood traitor—–butoh, not quite, she was just their spawn, she could be great. Shecould serve a purpose—–she could die for the cause. For glory. Hewould remember her name, her sacrifice, her wits and dreams and—–no, none of that now. No sentiments.
The longer he spent with her, the deeper his claws duginto the girl’s soul until he could compell her to do his bidding.
Walk to the second floor’s girl’sbathroom, do ignore Myrtle Warren—she is of no use to us. Listen carefully, I will teach youwhat to say. Down you go, Ginny, good girl, through this corridor. A few more words, Ginevra, now here we are. Don’t look her in the eyes, Ginny.
He drew on her life force—-oh just a little, he stillneeded her, to deliver his messages, to spread terror, to direct thebasilisk—–and appeared then, a boy of barely sixteen, Slytherintie and not a hair out of place as predatory gait brought him fromone side of the chamber to the other. He could not feel the cold, could not hear his own footsteps ( you are barely a ghost,Tom! ), but it was more than he had been before, and it wasexhilarating.
He could hear her whispers—–and although her tone wasfar from cheerful, a joy spread through the soulshard, almost makinghim feel warm, almost making him feel ALIVE. “I didnot mean to, beloved.” His voice rang clear through theempty chamber and he gazed around.
“My plans were——thwarted, I was….occupied. Will you forgive me?”

@adurostum / @fyrborn ; without a doubt, one of my favourite people that I’ve had the privilege of being able to talk to and get to know. we became friends and started talking properly out of a… pretty shitty incident, but I’m glad that it happened and that it got us talking tbh. prop’s writing is also fantastic. I really admire how much passion and thought and interest they put into each muse and thinking, writing out and developing things that aren’t really that important on a larger scale but really are the concrete base of the characters they write. it’s rare that people go that in depth with such things and, yeah. it is very admirable and I love that Prop does it.
for every @ I get, I will tag someone I love/look up to

wow what a bunch of baes?? beautiful human beings??? absolute darlings i would give my life for????
@adurostum Prop! Whoa there you heckity heckin’ great Albus! Leave some talent for the rest of us, eh? Did you like my attempt at sounding Canadian? It probably sounded more Minnesota than anything. Oops. ANYWAY. I am? So privileged to be Squad™ing with you, to be honest? Like, holy shit, your writing is absolutely gorgeous. How do you manage to write so much? Is it magic? Are you secretly Albus Dumbledore? I’m half tempted to say you are, because your portrayal is everything we never got in the series in more. It’s, as the picture says, inspiring, really, witnessing such an amazing portrayal. Also? Meowbus. I know we haven’t seen him in a while, but he’s such a treasure! Especially when he’s judging Remus for his poor life choices. Please judge him, Meowbus. Judge him until he sees the error of his ways. And please, stay fabulous, fam. You’re bae. Never forget it. ( voice recording goes here )
caediteos "listen timothy, someone's got to feed the kids while you're off making war" "we don't have kids, and my name is tom---no it's voldemort, and----" "YOU'VE GOT ONE MOUTH ON YOU FOR NOT EVEN BEING THE ONE WHO PAYS THE BILLS HERE"

@adurostum: i gotta shout out prop bc?? i still adore her albus?? her writing is wonderful and i adore all her thoughts and metas, and while we haven’t spoken a lot, she’s so much fun to talk to <3 i def hope we can properly interact sometime when she has the time!!
@grindxlwald: a is a bae (see what i did there) and i….don’t even have the words to express how much i love her writing. there’s just so much life to it, it’s lilting and dynamic, it sucks you so far into gellert’s head. and gellert himself, as she’s crafted him, is just wonderful. if there was ever a blog i’d fangirl over…
@magicbound: okay so mal and i are just now getting around to interacting, but anyway it’s been a joy to talk to them - about orsino and about magic in general. their orsino is so well-developed and it’s really interesting to read their headcanons about him - like, they get so into the little details, which i love. and of course their writing is wonderful.
