Stoked to start an awesome project today with @magicseaweed! #Adventureful will be a week long collaboration to jolt followers into the Adventure around us. Bring a sense of the love we have for the ocean, the world and people we get to share this with. I thought it would be beat to open this up with @noahlane_ on a wave that really represents the feeling I get from Adventure. What I find silly

I am always planning what the future holds. Thinking how exciting it will be.

But then, I will (hopefully) be a working doctor, and I'll never be as young as I am right now. I'll probably have even less spare time (difficult to imagine).

University is much less flexible than you'd think. There are deadlines. Holidays are for earning money to get you through the year. Evenings are for catching up on work (and in my case unwinding in front of Tumblr and dreaming of the future). Disposable cash and time required for travelling is just not there. The passion is, but my passion to secure myself a future comes first and always will. I think I'll actually have more freedom and resources to travel the world and do all the things I want when I'm old(er). I better not put this off until retirement. Shit needs to get done.

Isn't it silly that I am planning an adventureful adulthood when most adults will be looking back on their adventureful adolescence?
