This is going to be a multiple series story!!! As of now there is is only three parts. All characters in this series will be aged up since I plan on writing a mature theme later on. For now I am just looking for feed back and criticism. Ideas would be lovely as well!

PART I

And there you were...

Falling deeper...

As what you believed you were. You tried to open your eyes but all you saw was a black emptiness void.   Your hand reaching out in front of you as you tried to collect your own vision but you couldn't get a glimpse of anything but this pure darkness. You could barley feel your arms swinging back and forth, panicking as there was nothing to grab or feel.

Your ears were filled with silence, why is it that you couldn't hear? You knew you weren't deaf. Or at least you thought you weren't s your not exactly sure of who you are or what.

Your body felt weak, light as a feather falling from a tree. You continued to moved your body trying to get out of this empty void but you struggled as you couldn't tell if you were moving or not, your body started to become cold.

You tried to speak but nothing would or could come out, as if you were choking. It felt like thick traces of mud covered your throat and slowly filling your lungs. It burns.

You couldn't breathe.

Is this death? Am I dead? Or am I still dying. How did I end up here? Why did I end up here.

All these questions filled your head, you felt your body getting weak and weaker. You knew deep down this was it, so you started to give in to this painful death. You understood nothing why you were here but you accepted it. Letting your body become lifeless and letting out your last few breaths. Shutting your eyes...

Suddenly there was a sound. It sounded as if a torch was being lit, from under your eyelids you saw a light. It was becoming more and more vibrant as you accepted death.

Your eyelids fluttered open, a green torch.  You stood only a few feet away, you slowly drifted towards it. This confirmed it, you were dying, at least you thought.

Something snapped in you the moment you set eyes on it. It felt like a gravitational push, your body was being pushed closer and closer. Reaching out your cold limp hand, just about to grab it..  and then it was gone.

Your body was squeezed by something that wrapped about your figure. You felt your body like it was being dragged, your hands touch the thing that was wrapped around you. It was tough yet warm. Your hands took a small grip of what was saving you. It felt like cloth. Using every last piece of strength you had, you didn't let go . This was another body. There suddenly was another tight feeling around you, your body crashed into the one holding you already. It was bonded by some type of rope.

You were being saved but you knew it was to late.

*SPLASH*

Before you knew it your body flew into the air. Even with your eyes closed you could feel how bright it was, you must be outside. The light upon your skin made you feel warm, it must be the sun. You could finally feel how wet you were, it all made sense. You were drowning.

Your body was placed on the soft ground, your lifeless hands barley able to move. Your fingers twiddled what seemed to feel like grass. You were saved but at what cost.

"Oh my glob! Oh my glob!”

" I told yo- *cough* you I seen something down *cough* there!"

" Yeah man but I didn't think it was a person!"

"Candy * still breathing heavily* kingdom. Now. Jake."

You could barley lift your eyes and head just to take a look for the last time, two figures stood before you. Not able to adjust with this much light, you could make out was a yellow figure and another white.

The next moment your head hit the floor and out went the lights.

Welp here I am. I’ll do it, though if there are some repeated lines, I apologize, It’s been a while so I don’t remember what we put in the other ones ^^’ I hope you enjoy though! (Also- I wasn’t sure if you just wanted headcannons or a scenario, so I did headcannons, but if you want a scenario, you can send in another request)

 Marceline is of course a night owl, so if you two are together expect to be kept all night texting with her or being on video call. 

Seeing you fall asleep on the other end is such an adorable sight. She definitely has snuck a few photos that are for her eyes only.

A lot of nights she’ll sing you to sleep, though her cheeks will be a darker shade. 

Say anything about it and she’ll get all embarrassed.

Other nights she’ll sit outside with you in some random field and look at the stars. Maybe prank a few people. 

3 am dates to some weird 24 hour diner you guys frequent. 

The food isn’t all that good, but they have the best milkshakes, which Marcey always insists on paying for you guys. Though if you fought her on it, she’d agree to let you pay. But only if she could pay you back in some way.

Writing songs about you, or even better, doing duets together. 

You two would be the best band ever.

Her lyrics are always sweet and heartfelt, but there are some songs that are super personal, so those particular songs are even more special. 

There’s going to be mentions in the songs of cute moments from the diner. 

Matching rock t-shirts. 

Just chilling, listening to music while you put safety pins and rips on the t-shirts to seem even more ‘rock and roll’

Cuddles all the time. 

She’s a vampire, she has no body heat...but you do.

You’re the only person who’s allowed to eat her fries.

Hello! ^^ sorry for the short wait.

Can’t even tell you how much you will get teased. Like, it is non-stop with this guy. He will say ANYTHING just to get a reaction from you and most time it doesn’t take much, so...

Shows you off at parties so he can see you try and hide your face and act all cute.

Will get maybe a teeny tiny bit defensive is anyone else tries to tease you. 

Even more teasing

You cry from the teasing and he will hate himself forever while he does ANYTHING you want him to. Like, literally ask him for his head on a platter and he will die for you to be happy.....After he knows for sure that you are serious. 

Cuddles. You are too cute for your own good and he will pick you up while you are busy and just cuddle you. 

May get a bit protective, not gonna lie.

You can handle yourself (sorta) but uh......if it’s someone like Gumball around you he will stay planted firmly by your side, his arms around either your shoulder or waist and he will not let go.

Marshall lee x reader relationship headcannons

Sure thing! Thanks for requesting!

     Oh boy. You must be something to catch this one’s interest.

     Once you two are actually serious the teasing will never stop. You’re stuck with him and he takes advantage of that the most he can.

    Like Marceline, he’ll constantly write sons for you and serenade you, do a duet with him and he will be a very happy vampire. If you let him, he’ll try bringing you along to every party so you two can sing together.

     If you are shy…whoo boy. Oh boy, buddy boy. He will never stop teasing you. Like ever. (Imagine waking up to your phone going off because he wanted to make a point to embarrass you.) If it gets too much though, he knows when to tone it down. He’ll never completely stop, come one now. 

     As said with Marceline, you can expect 3A.M. dates to get French fries, which usually leads to him trying to make out with you any chance he gets.

    Marshall actually loves cuddles but we imagine him to be a low-key tsundere so he likes them more than he’s willing to admit. He never asks unless you are particularly upset about something but other than that he just takes it upon himself to pick you up and float you to the couch or bed, whichever is closer. 

    If you really wanna get to him though, lay your head in his lap of on his shoulder when he least expects it. We’re sorry but it’s one of the only ways to get back at him for all the teasing.

   So, we low-key ship Princess Bubblegum with Marceline, so we imagined you two hooking up because of Marceline trying to make Bub’s jealous.

   You two would start out as friends, taking it slow at first, since Marceline’s been in past relationships that didn’t work out that well *cough cough Mohawk looking dude cough* But from multiple band sessions and you two just chilling and hanging out to you two hatching up a plan to make Bubblegum jealous came you two cuddling on the couch.

     Just so you know, she’s the dominate one and if you wanna ‘wear the pants’ in the relationship she will fight you. (Not in a bad way, of course.) 

     She’ll constantly write you songs and if you let her, she’ll sing a duet with you any chance she gets, no doubt. 

    Expect 3 A.M. dates to go get French fries. It’s a thing. It’ll happen at least once every week or two. Why? Because why not.

Name last name was born and raised in the small town of ooo by her parents; both doctors who work at the same hospital with her father on the morning shifts and her mother with the nights, they made sure their only daughter and child had a parental figure present in her life. Growing up in a small town meant she knew all the neighbourhood kids and all the other kids in the other neighbourhoods. It meant knowing the layout like the back her own hand, she knew which stores had the best antiques, the good liquor shops, the cool hangout spots for teens and children alike, the lowkey drug dealers and druggies and their meeting points, how to contact them. She knew the old crocked willow tree who’s trunk was a twisted heart in the centre of the amusement park turned junkyard where all the couples went to tie a ribbon of their choice to its leafless branches. She liked going there on windy days to watch the colourful strips dance in the air currents. It meant knowing the houses that give the king size candy bars on Halloween. It meant everybody knew everyone and no one was a stranger.

So understandably name was confused to see a moving van parked in front of the house next to hers when she looked out the window in her bedroom on a cool afternoon. Name didn’t recall any of her neighbours moving out, come to think of it she doesn’t remember anyone living in that house. Name couldn’t help the intrigue. It was the summer before high school, everybody already knows one another from grade school, cliques have been formed along with the tight bond that comes with knowing someone all your life, it would be undeniably hard for them to find where they fit in; name could imagine. At least they’ll have the entire summer to figure it out and make friends, not that it’ll take that long, the people of ooo are known for their friendly nature and welcoming aura.

Name had met them that night when they arrived at their doorstep with what she assumed was a peace declaration in the form of ‘bacon pancakes’, they called it, if she remembers correctly. Her father was busy in the kitchen with dinner, leaving name the responsibility of answering the door. Immediately she swung the door open she was momentarily blinded by one of their high wattage smiles. The hair colour haired girl had to blink a few times while they introduced themselves and hope she didn’t come off as rude. Of course she introduced herself and with the door closed behind her, she made small talk with her new neighbours; the twins; jermaine and jake and their little brother finn- the one who smiled- who was only a year younger, in the chill of the night.

Name had been smitten at first sight by his wonderful smile and aura of good humour, not that his brothers didn’t radiate that kind of energy. If you asked name they all looked like triplets with their blonde locks and big eyes with that said there are some noticeable differences in character, for example; jermaine is calmer and sager than the rest while although finn and jake share a sporadic nature finn got it in the heavier doses and jake seemed wiser and more grown up at times during conversation.

Taking the stack of pancakes- name learnt was something their mother made them do whenever they move, which implied that they move quite a bit- they said their goodbye’s and by the time name shut the door, she subconsciously hoped their stay here would be permanent and she’d come to the realisation. She had a crush on finn.

They had the bacon pancakes as dessert, who knew buttermilk pancakes layered with bacon butter cream would be delicious? After saving some for her mother and helping wash up, name went to bed with a mental note to properly say hello the next day.

But she always procrastinated; it’s not like she had anything better to do and seeing finn again should have been motivation enough but she just kept putting it off until the next day. Eventually he made acquaintances, formed a group of his own, as she suspected, he fitted in nicely with the rest of the jocks. She became so busy with her friends that it felt like there wasn’t time to even think about seeing him.

So she gave up the thought all together. Then she found out a window in her bedroom is directly opposite his. It became a subconscious habit to peer into his room from time to time; wondering what he’s up too. There were nights when he’d close the curtains but keep the lights on while name watched his silhouettes on the curtains mimic his actions. Other times would be in the reverse and there were seldom mornings when he’d be passing by and notice your form in the window, he’d stop to smile and wave, hoping you’d return the action but you never did, paralyzed by embarrassment, all you did was look away. 

A year passed and nothing changed and that’s when name knew that she was in trouble. She’s had crushes before, none of which lasted more than a month but this was different, a year and counting isn’t something to laugh at. She’s so infatuated with a male whom she’s never once held a decent conversation alone with not even at the neighbourhood cookouts or holiday parties or at school or after big game and everyone’s patting his back. She’s simply too nervous to do anything but watch from the sidelines.

Name doesn’t understand what’s so special about him. Of course there was the thing that started everything, his delightful grin and the things she’s come to notice over the months; his boyish good looks with long blonde locks that looked better kept than his brothers’, she enjoyed watching him play basketball- she noticed was his favourite sport though he did play others- seeing drenched in sweat is a sight to behold, his shirt would cling to his body, outlining his lean muscular form. Name quite liked his wardrobe too, it was as if he had a colour scheme; cool colours such as blues, blacks and greens complemented by a touch of white he got from the backwards caps or beanies he’s seen wearing really ties the whole teenage heartthrob vibe. Maybe it was how he could blend in with the crowd and still be the centre of attention, maybe it was all of those things and at the same time none of those things but whatever it was it certainly drew her in.

Looking back in it she sounds awfully shallow which is far from the point. There was something about him as warm and inviting as his smile that pulled you in. The hair colour haired female was determined to find out, she’d write a list if needs be, in fact she made it a new year’s resolution to get closer to him. So one must understand why she lost her shit when iridella told her she’d be tutoring finn after Christmas break.

This story was inspired by ‘Valedictorian’ by amatuerduhhh and all the wonderful short stories by as well a ‘Sticky notes’ by foodie cookie. So this is what i hope is an aesthetic love story between finn and name as high scholars in a modern world. Finn doesn’t have enough fics that interpret his awkward, flimsy, usually short lived, toxic and passion filled relationships with princesses without the cringe writing style. So that’s what i’m trying to do here. As well as shine light on finn as a character, the boy his too overhyped but at the same time nobody really understands how mathematical he really is {see what i did there} Pls don’t mind the lowercase and uppercase. And because adventure time is a show where the characters don’t have normal acceptable names-except a few- i’ll be using the names of their voice actors and if i can’t find them i would resort to their given name. :)
