I used to live in an appartment in Vienna. It felt like prison compared to my new home on wheels. Shopping always felt like a burden because I had to carry everything onto the 4th floor and into my appartment. No elevator. Public transport was quite a bit away and I did not have a car back then. I feel free now. Every day feels like a new adventure. Of course there are ups and downs, pros and cons. But #vanlife gives me freedom. Not only roadwise and moneywise but especially in my head. I can be wherever I want whenever I want. And it connects me more deeply with Nature. I feel the coldness in the Van when it is cold outside and I feel the warmth of the Sun when she arises. I hear the birds singing and the raindrops falling.
