thats why i stopped. i left a two chapter fic with only one chapter, and my other three fics are super short. i didnt post a lot of my writing, because (along with some other reasons) i’d stay up, constantly refreshing my tumblr for the numbers n comments to roll in.

and it destroyed me. with four measly little fics, i had to stop. im still in the starker fandom, i absolutely love everything about it, but i just stopped writing.

and its okay if you wanna stop to. just to take a break, even. breaks are important. putting your wellbeing first is important.

we’re all here for each other, because 1 fic or 1000, it sucks when you dont reach your own expectations.

i told my dad i was finally writing and he wanted to know what it was about

i told him it’s about a complicated father-son relationship with a rare trauma coping mechanism where they rely on each other for comfort because of how the world is.
