Aecor, the Capital of the Pescis

Dark depths surrounds the outside the city of the Pescis, the monstrous species of the Feresi, the waters are harsh and allow little light to reach this disphotic part of the ocean and the weight of the water above too high for most land-dwellers to explore this ancient civilization. Most sea creatures can make their own bioluminescent light, be it with an attachment or created from the inside to show outside. Crevices surround an underwater temple with a large trench off the left of the entrance of the temple that has yet been swallowed by the earth like the rest of Aecor. The crevices that don't lead to homes, lead to the entrance into Aecor itself.

Within the trench, there are some small openings that lead into small buildings in which the Pescis carved out of the hard stone walls. Some of the homes are outside the city but some are within the city. Structures surround a temple of sorts that was built over a trench-like hole. The city itself lights up with the same bioluminescent light. Aecor is the home of the Pescis, that was once a city built over the waters of the bay of dragons. The citizens weren't always so monstrous, they were refugees of war. Many of them had thought of innovative ways to create this very city, just like the Illuminated had created the tech field over Tahn. However, Aecor did not last over the waters long. It was said that the Gods held an argument over a trivial subject and accidentally sunk the city during a fit of rage, sending the city and its residents to a watery grave.

In an attempt to save some of the people, Alissiah blessed them with the ability to breath under the water to allow them to get to shore. But they had loved their beautiful city and could not part with their hard work and the brothers and sisters that they had lost in this tragedy. Seeing that they wouldn't leave, Vatra, the Goddess of Chaos and Discord, corrupted the forms of the poor souls, making them into the monsters that are now known as the Pescis.
