If you’re acting like a parent towards the girls, Qifrey would lean on a counter and watch with loving eyes. Of course he loves his girls, but he’ll also totally think about potentially having kids with you one day, no matter what that looks like. Adoption, fostering, or birth, he wants to do whatever would make you happiest.
Qifrey would be so gentle with you, especially around the girls. He loves you, and he wants to show you that. He would rather show you than tell you though. He’s totally one for softly putting his hand on your waist or hip as he walks past you. He’s try to have spells premade for you to finish for when you need them for daily use. He’s weak for you, and he wouldn’t want it any other way.
Touch starved Leon who doesn’t realize just how touch starved he is until you almost tackle him to the ground when he gets home from a mission. No, he’s not letting you up. This is your home now. You’ve gotta wait till he’s ready to move, and even then, he will continue to at least have a hand on you for the next 24 hours. No. Personal space is not a thing.
If you fall asleep while waiting for Leon to get home from a mission, he’d do his best to not wake you. He’d try to pick you up as gently as possible from the couch and move you to your shared bed. If you start stirring, he’d whisper a soft “I’m here. Go back to sleep. I love you,” before giving you a soft kiss on the top of your head.
Leon doesn’t mind late nights. He doesn’t mind if you need a 2am snack. If anything, he’s going to take that opportunity to dance with you in the kitchen while you think about what snack sounds good to you. If you want, he’d even offer input while dancing around with you.
There comes a day of which Qifrey realizes while watching your wonder that he doesn’t want to just protect you, he also wants to protect your dreams. He wants to protect your wonder. He wants to protect your joy and love for all things magical.
Leon is a light sleeper. He has to be. If he is to get any rest while out on a mission, he needs to wake up if something happens. So when he wakes up to you saying his name in your sleep? He is hit with all of the softest feelings. If he’s not already holding you, he will pull you tight to his chest and gently play with your hair until he falls back asleep.
Leon is the type of guy that would give you a small but meaningful gift. Maybe a rock he picked up on your first date maybe something else. Nonetheless, if he came over to your place and saw it on a shelf or somewhere else on display, he would melt a bit. He’s glad he can give you something you think is worth keeping, even if it’s something only the two of you would understand.
