hiii beloved! the short answer: yes! if all goes well I intend to have another update ready by Emma’s bday on 8/22 (literally a year after the last update but it’s fine it’s fine lol)

the long answer: I’ve been working 2 jobs since January (3 if you count hosting a zine, though I will readily admit I was so so reliant on my mod team on account of having two irl jobs 🤦🏻‍♀️) and have sadly barely had time for any hobbies. but the good news is, mid-August I will be going full time at my office job and only have one (1) job!!!! Leaving aeoy unfinished has plagued me for months, especially because most of the final chapter has been written for years 😭😭

Aey cannot handle any more rejection. He cannot handle any more failure. And he won't let anyone get in his way, no matter who they are and no matter what the truth may be.

The truth doesn't matter if you convince other people of your lies. If you can manipulate others into agreeing with you, the beginning doesn't matter at all. Aey wants to control the narrative.

Aey needs this to succeed. He needs to control the people in his life, he needs to know that he's the one manipulating them, that he's the one who will win in the end.

But you can't win these kind of relationships.
