I was tagged by the wonderful @fearofahumanplanet to find present, prosper, siege, survive, quota in my WIPs. I am apparently the king of being tagged with words I haven't used lol. However, if I take present and use the synonym gift, I DO have one excerpt for all of you.

Present Gift

The devilkin smiled, his hooves making the floorboards creak softly under his steps. He crossed the room, sitting beside Aeronwen and handing her the box. "A gift for you to take with you when you leave tomorrow." Aeronwen ran her fingers over the rough paper, wondering silently what it would be. Domnius chuckled softly. "Well? Aren't you going to open it?" His sharp teeth gleamed mischievously in the candlelight. Aeronwen found an edge and pulled, ripping the paper away and opening the box inside. She gasped softly at the sight of the shield inside.

Inktober Day 4.  A crossover doodle with Scyllis from my Bootleggers work, and Aeronwen, a tiefling who belongs to my friend @cynicalstith! Check her stuff out, she’s amazing. Aeron’s normally a D&D character for a medieval fantasy setting, but there’s a cool formal wear pic of her and my friend’s other tieflings that I thought would fit nicely with my Bootleggers characters. 

Aeron’s got a pet pygmy wyvern, and Scyllis kiiinda has a pet in the form of shadowy wolf tendrils attached to her lower back. So I figured they’d go well in a little bar counter scene together.

Aeronwen: I was getting a book but I saw you.. are you alright?

Tallulah: I just.. it's stupid, you dont wanna hear it

Aeronwen: Let's go to lunch... everyone is on a field trip so itll be quiet. I'll listen
