Yes, there are undoubtedly reasons for each of the recastings and probably a good move for various reasons, which I see. I suppose what I find odd is that there should be so many recastings all at once that apparently have nothing to do with scheduling conflicts. For me, it draws into question their casting a bit. It isn't as if it was news that they'd need Tommen to eventually be able to do some acting, and they were able to navigate casting the Stark children. Or that Gregor was supposed to be an imposing figure, who would turn up again later on in the series. I'm not even going to start with Daario. I sometimes question the casting--probably inevitable with a cast this large--but if they need to recast more than one or two actors between seasons, because they aren't right for the part, they might take a little more care when originally casting a part.
As I said, not really a complaint. I love the show, I am entertained by it, I think in general it's a pretty good adaptation of a series I love very much, and if the recastings improve the show with better actors playing these roles, all the better.
