It was quite early in the morning, the sun was peeking through the blinds that were partly opened, casting a warm light on your face as you wondered what the commotion was about. A familiar voice was raised on the other side of your bedroom door, and you were still half asleep sprawled out on the bed. The combination of loud noises didn’t stop and you decided to confront the ongoing clatter, sluggishly walking to the door and turning the door knob to be met by Yeonjun angrily pouting with a manual booklet in his palms.

“H-hey, sorry did I wake you?” Your boyfriend’s expression softened to an apologetic smile. His pink hair was slightly dishevelled, strands sticking to the sweat beading at his temples.

“Jjunie, what is going on? You’re sweating so much.” You weakly laughed at his instant movements, wiping away at his forehead before you walked over to pass him a headband from the dresser.

“Our AC is out and it’s the middle of the summer,” Yeonjun’s lips turned back into a pout and you couldn’t help but momentarily squish his cheek, “I tried to fix it but I give up.”

You were sure that the AC was working perfectly fine the night before but there was nothing else you could do about it. For a moment, you were about to come up with a solution and just check if the fuse had blown out before requiring extra assistance to replace it, but seeing Yeonjun this way was too adorable to not mess around with him a little more.

“Ah, I guess we’ll just have to bear with it. Think of it like a sauna in the comfort of our own home,” the corners of your lips turned to a small smile, “You can do that, right?” You sighed, trying not to ruin your facade only to see him widen his eyes at you, brows furrowing. Yeonjun didn’t like the feeling of him constantly sweating, his white tank top became translucent, faintly outlining his abs.

You were waiting for his response, still pouting from your last comment. “Babbyy, I don’t think I can cope anymore. It’s wayy too warm in here. Can’t we just go over to the boys’ place? I’m sure their AC is working, and I can call Soobin to let him know-” Yeonjun’s sudden outburst amused you, leaving to to laugh uncontrollably while he’s standing in front of you.

“Sure Jjunie, we can go over to the boys’. I haven’t seen them for a while anyway, go shower and we’ll leave before you starting sweating again.” You chuckled and pecked his lips, scrunching your nose from the sweat droplet that had landed on your forehead.
