Me: Haha, wow! I really like my formal, slightly old fashioned, heavily nature-based, introverted, hand-picked aesthetic that I’ve been building up for myself over the past year! Sure hope nothing fucks it up! :)
Scenecore:
I have too many aesthetic and too little time for them all, also a lack of clothing that suits any of them. Why can’t I dress like an old fashioned witch today and a young woman at university tomorrow and the girl who collects wildflowers the day after? Because I don’t have the clothes or anywhere to go god dammit!
I've lost my glasses 3 times in the past hour 🌸👓🌸
I need to find a frame for this morphine prescription from the 19th century that my friends gave me
Aesthetic Problem:
Sometimes I want pastels and soft silk. To have long braided hair and flower crowns. Maybe even lace.
Sometimes I want soft jeans, a softer t-shirt. Old Converse or Docs. And all natural comfy pull over.
And sometimes. I want mesh. Leather. Buckles. Belts. Studs. Jewelry. Heavy eyeliner. Shadows. Perfume.
I’m jealous of people who can dedicate a whole room to one exact aesthetic. Like, do you know the dedication to the look that takes? The money that takes making sure ALL the items match? The reason I couldn’t ever do that is because my mood (and my aesthetic tastes by default) change weekly, and when I’m shopping for things I need, I have to go cheap and functional over ✨aesthetic✨so as a result my home is just a collection of my moods when I buy an item.
A short list of aesthetics I’ve gone through in the past 6 months:
Witchy
Light academia
Vintage
Cottagecore
Kawaii
Fandoms
Pastel goth
Yellow
Mermaid
Space
Sunflowers
Crazy cat lady
And steampunk for like 3 days
HOW DO YALL PICK ONE AESTHETIC AND STICK WITH IT??!
