Thanks, XO Story Kit, for reminding me to scrap last year’s annual anniversary page. By some sort of magic, I had these giant numbers in my stash, and the two numbers I needed were in colors that coordinated perfectly with the kit! I fussy cut shapes out of the kit’s patterned papers and arranged them with chipboard and wood embellishments, and I layered them up with journaling capturing our biggest highlights of 2022. And that’s a wrap on our Niagara Falls weekend getaway! There was a paper with this large quote on it in the @aliedwardsdesigninc travel collection’s paper pack, which made me remember this 12x12 transparency with the same sentiment from Ali’s Good Old Days scrapbook kit! I layered the transparency over a 12x8 photo and created 4” tall rows of other photos and cards to run along both sides of the top of the transparency and the large photo to create a little spread documenting our boat ride around the falls. Another giant wood veneer word put to use on this layout about the food we ate in Niagara Falls! I’m committed to keeping the number of layouts for this trip small (it WAS just one weekend, after all), which means I’m packing in the photos on every page.
