it’s difficult to find a gift for someone you once knew so well — did her mother have different preferences in the past ? did she dislike things she would later come to love ? lucina was unsure if her mother would even want a gift from her .... even though her heart spoke differently . ‘ this scent has always reminded me of you ... roses & honey . i thought the bottle was quite pretty as well . i hope you enjoy it .... happy mother’s day . ‘

               There’s many things she doesn’t get to enjoy on this festive day, in truth she missed her family - she missed the Pegasus riders she’d lost still all not too long ago that burned a hole into her heart every chance she let her guard down about it. However, she still never quite came to terms that there was a possibility she would become someone’s mother– That the father would be the man she’s adored for so long.

               Yet here she was, getting a gift from the strong young woman and she felt so many things, she couldn’t even begin to describe the flutter of to and fro of her mind but her heart swelled and she found herself getting terribly emotional.

         ◜T-Thank you..◞ 

               The words just weren’t enough. Her eyes brimmed with her overflowing emotions and she found herself being somewhat improper as she reached out - not for the very adorable and pretty vial but past that - far enough that her arm could reach round the young woman’s shoulders and she pulled them both close so she could briefly engulf Lucina in her arms, hugging the girl close for she was so strong and maybe for half the wrong reasons and there was so much love and pride and—

                                                   ◜Thank you Lucina.◞   

          ◜I-I hope.. I can grow into the mother you are giving this gift to.◞
