I have been mainlining afab Rex fics lately, and having read basically everything on AO3 at this point it is very funny to me that no one at all seems to remember that girls typically grow before boys in the pre-teen age range. All the fics that mention any size difference are like “ohh, tiny baby Rex is so small for his age!” when he’s supposed to be like 10-13. But in real life Rex would very likely be crushing his growth targets until very late in the game on Kamino. At age 6/12 he may even tower over his amab fellows.
Anyways, I don’t have a point here, just pointing out an unexplored avenue in the afab Rex library.
