So I'm seeing rumours lately saying that people are sending hate to themselves and that it is us tumblr users behind the anon messages. If this is the case, it changes nothing for me. The bottom line is that people are suffering and need support, and if they had to send hate to themselves in order to get this support then I think they still need it. While I do not agree with the possible ‘faked’ attacks, I am still willing to listen and help anyone and everyone who needs it. Xo Charlie

Hi, guys.

So apparently everything was a hoax. That sucks, but it shows how well we stick together in a time of crisis. I’m proud of everybody who actually received hate and kept going, and of all of you who helped out others by sending them love or being safe to talk to. Hey, we made it.

I’m changing my blog name back to normal, but I want to emphasize that I am still a safehouse blog in that anyone who needs to talk about all of this (or anything, for that matter) can always find my door open. I feel like most of us have become closer through this; I know for me that some bonds have been formed and some have become even stronger.

Also, one last quick note: I got a TON of followers from this entire thing. Frankly I’m astonished that my follower count more than DOUBLED.

If you only followed me because I was getting hate or because I’m a safehouse, and/or if you don’t like what I post or want it on your dash, PLEASE DON’T feel obligated to keep following me. Your dash is your dash, and I love all of you but I respect your decision if you don’t like what I post. My follower count will never affect the fact that I’m always here if anyone needs to talk.

I will be taking a short break from Tumblr. It’ll probably last a couple days. I’ll leave this up here for anyone who still checks my blog. One more time:
