Hey, love your page and thanks for the wonderful content, it’s great to have you back! Can I please get some insight and advice for having (pisces) Saturn in the 5th house AND an afflicted Venus 😭😭 From what what I’ve read about the former, I’m so discouraged because I can see how it’s manifested greatly in my life, and I feel that the state of my Venus makes it that much more challenging 😢
Saturn in the 5th house
Can be a difficult placement. Of course, this depends on what aspects the planets here are making to the others in our chart however, natives with The Lord of Karma and discipline living in their house of creativity, fun, leisure, and children find it hard to really give it their all emotionally. They can often feel like no one loves them enough or others may feel that hey can be “killjoys”. This is because Saturn tends to restrict whatever it touches. So there will feel as if there is a restriction of fun in this house. It will impede spontaneity. There will be a fear of taking risks or opening up. These people don’t like surprises and can be very serious. Think Kocuom from Pocahontas. Though they are wise and thoughtful and typically the best people to give or get advice, they are constantly in their heads. They suppress their inner-child who longs to get out. These folks will think over and over and over whether it’s a good idea to go out this weekend when they haven’t cleaned their house. One doesn’t necessarily have to do with the other but in a 5th house Saturnians mind, they think they are slacking on responsibilities and as a result, do not deserve to have fun until it’s taken care of. They feel guilt when having a good time. This can result in all kinds of neuroses. there can be impediments in creativity [look for supporting aspects] or problems with the Parents impeding their creativity. Saturn also represents the dominant parent. It’s not uncommon for 5th House Saturnians to have grown up in a strict household. These people can also feel that they do not deserve love. Especially if there’s an afflicted Venus involved. They can feel like they are giving their all but their partner might feel them cold. There can be issues with unrequited love as well with an afflicted Venus and Saturn in the mix. In conjunction, it is difficult for Saturn in 5th house natives to show their love as they have a hard time expressing what they’re feeling and usually offer gifts of the material nature to show their affection. What natives with this placement need to remember is that nothing bad will happen if they’ll go out and have a good time. CHILL OUT. It is okay to live it up. To get drunk and be merry. To play first for once then work later. That they, just like everyone, are deserving of love and affection.
