It felt like Levi had been on airplanes a lot recently -- after getting back from the Bahamas with Hannah and feeling like a completely new person, he'd had a few days of classes (which he skipped) before he was back on board with Piper St. Clair -- this time, heading to Europe. Flying first class with all the luxuries that one could hope for thanks to the Scanlon credit card, Levi spent most of the plane trip talking to Piper about whatever came to mind and then sharing an earbud with her and listening to some music. It always surprised Levi how comfortable he was with Piper; she was crazy at times, and usually pulled that out of him as well, but even in their more subdued moments, they were completely content. Levi liked that he could just be with Piper -- he didn't feel as though he had to do or say anything to make her happy, and that always made Levi feel comfortable around her. Once the plane touched down and they hauled their bags out of the terminal, Levi grinned across at Piper, feeling an excitement bloom to life in chest at the sight of the city in the distance. Amsterdam was every young adult's dream playground: a city of possibility, a city of mischief, a city where people came to life at night, and Levi could already feel the beat of a distant night club in his chest, as though he were already there. "I'm thinking we keep going til we drop this weekend," he said to Piper as he walked forward and grabbed a cab, chucking his and Piper's things into the trunk and opening the door for her. After sliding in to the backseat with her, giving the driver the name of the hotel, he turned back to Piper. "We should make this a trip to remember -- clubs, cheesy tourist attractions, canal rides, night clubs, drugs," his eyes were alight with the possibilities that stretched out before them, and he grinned at Piper, knowing that she was probably just as excited as him. "We are currently at... midnight Amsterdam time. Jetlag has a little while to set in, and I'm sure we could always find a way to off set it for a little while," he added with a wink. Drumming his hands excitedly on the back of the driver's seat in the cab, he couldn't wipe the smile off his face at the thought of being out of the country with Piper, someone who was bound to make it a memorable experience.

TIME FRAME: the weekend following the auction

LOCATION: manhattan, new york 

GENERAL NOTES: start around five pm 

Julianne wasn't very sure what to expect with this date. Aside from the fact that she didn't do dating, or really any interaction that involved her being somewhat civil with another human being, she had pretty minimal interaction with the boy who would accompany her into Manhattan. After her father's passing, when she turned to drugs and alcohol and spiraled out of control, she interacted briefly with him. But the relationship was simple and very shallow: he was the dealer, she was the buyer, no questions asked. Though she wasn't exactly ashamed of what she'd done to ignore her problems, it wasn't something she fully embraced.

She waited outside Ellsworth, dressed in a simple navy dress with gold accents and a pair of casual flats, hair in it's usual state of dark waves, just pinned back a bit out of her face. Under her fairly loose dress was a tight little black dress, matched to go with the red heels in her bag, all for the wrap up of their evening. The date wasn't anything particularly extravagant, it just involved going to several little places with amazing food, all finished with going to an exclusive 21 and under club for the teenagers born into elite families who wanted to keep their image in check. Though of course it didn't compare to an actual club, she would rather not break the strict Heathfield laws she knew she would get caught breaking.

When she got sight of Jeremy walking out of the dormitory, she walked over to him, a neutral expression on her face as she approached them. "Hey," she said politely. She had to stop the nagging in her head telling her to automatically insult the boy in front of her, so the one word in a nice way was hard for her to do. But it was good enough for her.

TIME FRAME: next weekend, two weeks after the auction.

LOCATION: the bahamas

GENERAL NOTES: best friends on a non-romantic getaway where yachting, sun tanning, and heart-to-hearts will ensue.

The wheels of the airplane touched down in Nassau -- it had only take a few hours, and Levi had been too excited to sleep through it. For at least two of those hours, he'd been thinking about his goodbye to Nate; it probably hadn't been as thorough as he'd have liked. Levi knew that they weren't dating - god no - but they were... something... and his stupidly stunted 'goodbye' and hug had seemed to fall short of the sentiment he felt at actually leaving Nate behind for once. But once he was on the plane and seated next to Hannah, he put it all into perspective: it was only for a few days, and besides, the time apart might do them some good. Levi had been feeling both ecstatic and dejected about everything, and time away from Nate and Heathfield was exactly what he needed, just him and his best friend. Lynden Pindling International Airport was bustling with arriving and departing holiday goers as Levi and Hannah walked into the terminal, Levi slinging his messenger bag strap over his shoulder and tugging his suitcase behind him. He'd brought the smallest one he had, considering it wasn't a very long trip, and he'd even been a gentleman and carried Hannah's too. He couldn't quite emphasise how grateful he was for the trip -- he knew it was mere chance that had paired him up with her, but the twist of fate had meant he was with his best friend for a few days, rather than a stranger on a pseudo-date. "I have a good feeling about this trip," he said conversationally to Hannah as they walked out of the airport, and he fumbled with his dark sunglasses, pushing them on quickly to cover his eyes against the harsh glare of the sun -- he didn't have a good feeling about that, however. "Right -- taxi? Let's taxi," he said, stepping up to the side of the road and hailing one down with a raised hand and a whistle, watching the man skid to a stop in front of them, and Levi quickly loaded the bags into the trunk before opening the car door for Hannah with a flourish and a smile. Slipping in beside her, Levi was already regretting his choice in clothing -- his dark jeans and shirt seemed to absorb the heat, and he was sweltering, pushing his hair off his forehead and looking across at Hannah, frowning as he realised she was all in white. "Where to?" the taxi driver was asking, and Levi looked up at Hannah in question, wondering if she knew her way around or if she was just as lost as he felt when it came to almost everything and anything relating to the sun and the water like the Bahamas seemed to thrive off of.

With her luck, an Arkwright boy would win her. Bella didn't normally get along well with the men who resided in the male equivalent of her house, but Benton wasn't terrible. That was a lie. Benton was practically a saint compared to the deviants who resided in the halls of Arkwright. Which only made it more interesting to Bella that Benton was going to be her date. The Royces and the Rosenwalds ran in the same circles, but she didn't really know the Royce boys. Preston had been older than her and Benton a few years younger and by the time they were all three at Heathfield, they had different class schedules, different boarding areas, different lives. As Jacob's friend, however, Bella decided to give this Benton kid a try, a real try and Luna Park would be the place to do it.

Heathfield was all prim and proper, blazers and freshly pressed shirts. Bella felt uncomfortable in her school uniform, like she was pretending to be something she wasn't for people that she had no interested in impressing. The feel of Luna Park was different. The summer heat lingered thanks to the midday sun, which meant everyone was in as minimal clothes as possible. Her ripped band t-shirt, shorts and converse meant that she fit in to the younger crowd, her bikini top peeking out from the side of her ripped arm holes. With her long hair hanging past down her shoulders and her bag slung diagonally across her chest, Bella looked the part of bored teenager instead of bored heiress, especially as she searched in her bag for her favorite pair of Ray Bans. Leaning against one of the benches that sat alongside the pier, it was all about waiting for Benton to show up for their day of fun.
