So deep

A friend once told me that he can not decipher me because sometimes, I am way too deep with how I see the world yet there are times that I seem to be so shallow, I am like a child who doesn't have any idea of what the world is all about. But everyone of us should be like that to maintain balance on how we think and how we navigate through this life. If you are always deep, you will drown with your own reveries. You will forget the little things, the goodness of life and what makes it worthwhile. If you are always shallow, you will not learn how to swim. You will deprive yourself from adventures, from discovering the mysteries that you are made of and from understanding some factors of your existence, if not all. That is why you have to swim deeper to find yourself through the secrets of the world yet you also have to lay back and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Just to make sure that before the sun sets, you have enjoyed your lifetime. Life's a beach after all.
