Afop TAP - How we see it

TW: Some things mentioned here MIGHT be heavy. Idk i'm awful at judging what is a heavy topic. But you are warned in any case.

Whole thing was made with @mimithemetro on discord. Mostly gathering information we already knew from the game and adding our thing to it, as to have a better idea how it would look. For story wise for our characters and stories we make!

First of all. There were AT LEAST 32 sarentu kids. I find my quick calculation, but i will probably redone them once i finally get to TAP-CON-1. That's the first thing

Second was that Alma didn't had as much power in whole thing as we were let to believe. Thanks to the first cutscenes from the beginning and how Mercer literally have a power over her classroom while confronting Aha'ri. Not to mention that he refused to let Alma teach kids about human culture, literally shut down that idea (it was one of the notes if i remember correctly). She was just a teacher and they (Mercer and Harding) make sure of it.

The only good thing she was able pull through with her benefits as co-founder (probably ex after that), was her changing the way Aha'ri died in TAP. Edit: In the report about why child died, i forgot to add this

Mercer was definitely grooming the youngest kids there (look at Teylan).

Harding was using oxygen to force submission from older kids who would try rebel against them. It was her favourite method after all.

Whole residental school (thank you one commenter that i can't now remember for mentioning it) and german-nazi school in łódź was happening to Sarentu kids. I want to believe they somehow hold themselves, so there won't be more dead children. But then again, it was Mercer and Harding.

They also make classes with 15 kids each. I throw the idea of A, B and C class. Each co-founder had one, but i doubt Mercer would actually put any effort into teaching these who he believed was under him, so his class was under Alma name (he still would interact with them, just to control or manipulate them). Harding would make from her class full discipline military.

And no doubt she would try new torture methods in some cases.

I'm sure she wouldn't like her class anyway so these under her would suffer very much.

Gabriela, a doctor who worked at TAP Infirmary/medical wing sporadically(tho, perhaps in human more likely... Stuff nd details) and as a doctor in general. I imagine her not being there from beginning, though, perhaps after Aha'ri's death, Mercer got her to vouch for him in his lies in the RDA official reports. Alma and her were close, but Gabi knew something stinked in TAP. Ultimately she was called back to HG before 52' as tensions rose.

After the first war, got her mind transferred to her avatar in hopes of escaping dementia and living with her what-would-be mate. That did not work in the slightest. Eywa said sike. Now she's a lone rogue, living in the Weeping Canyon. Her dementia progresses, and often the na'vi who visit her are worried, but she insists she can still take care of herself. Even if she mistakes Jake for Tommy in her stories, even if she calls some Na'vi names like Teylan or Okni when they've told her many times they're not called that... The blues like that. And now she has a energetic teenager to look after. Oh Eywa and Jesus combined, give her a cigarette.

Does she encounter Sarentu? Oh, only time will tell~

Flickering Lights AU thoughts:

The thought of Tamtey finding out it was Yuayt who tattletaled on Aha'ri nd group when they were trying to escape, either from Okni(by adding two to two, despite Okni avoiding the topic) or from old RDA notes/files,,,,

And suprisingly, maybe anger will be there later, but when Yuayt shows up to take Okni away from resistance, Tamtey asks only one thing:

Why does he get to keep his sibling? Despite all?
