Yosuke always knew his bike was probably gonna get him killed one day but,  this was certainly a close one. His whole body ached and throbbed, his head most of all, and all he simply wanted to do was sleep it off and even then he could only close his eyes for ten or so minutes before a nurse made sure he wasn’t sleeping. He was so annoyed, even when visitors came. He couldn’t focus on the photo for too long, averting his eyes every few seconds. “I must not have been that good of a friend if I can’t remember you guys, huh? I’m sorry...” The teen tried to have a joking tone but his voice had been weighed down with nausea that came and went.

He glanced from Yu to Rise before sighing, his non-broken arm briefly pressing into his side until that discomfort passed. “Sorry, I really can’t remember.” It was odd for him to be so quiet, so injured that he couldn’t do much of anything. Why did feel so bad to disappoint them? “D-do you two mind staying here though? It’s quiet and the beeping is getting on my nerves.”

It was broad daylight and a numerous amount of people had scattered, shrieking in fear. And rightly so, after all a demon had made an appearance. A beastman with a leopard’s visage on a humanoid shape.

His slitted pupils fell upon a girl, widening ever so slightly in surprise over the fact she had not run from him.

“You there, girl. Are you not afraid of I, the great Ose?”

“I thank you for picking me up from therapy Ann...” Yusuke spoke gently to the other, he was going to a therapist outside of school, he struggled to talk to the school therapist especially when they knew about Madarame, he found it difficult to talk about and difficult to deal with. He held his fox plush bag quietly with a gentle smile “so...crepes?” he asks quietly tilting his head, the therapist was helping him with his life skills as well, to help him save money better, to help with these skills.

“So, here is the employee break room. You will get between 1 and 3 breaks per day depending on how long your shift is. If you work between six and eight hours, you get a 45 minute lunch period. We provide basic snacks for the employees, but you are responsible for providing your own lunch.” Michio listened to their new boss intently, taking down notes in their personal notebook. They had recently gotten a job at the Junes in Inaba, and luckily had not been questioned as to why they so strongly resembled the detective prince who had gone missing. Instead, they had been hired as a ‘float’. Someone who did various jobs around the store when other employees needed help. 

“Got it, thank you Hanamura-san.” “I will also assign one of our veteran employees to train you in your job. If you have any questions, you can ask him.” “I will! Thank you!”

Naoto was probably feeling too giddy or not as old as some people assumed over this trip with the IT. They’d planned this months earlier and set up the timings so it'd be near the day Summer vacation would end and things were going well. Apart from Teddie's usual returning tendency to call her Nao-chan which she'd always stop him from doing and add how she only let people who she trusted deeply to use shortened nicknames she'd enjoyed hanging out with everyone and to see Rise before she'd start the distance studies in order to handle her idol career properly.

She was currently talking with her bestie and noticed how Kanji was complaining on how they only had food and no soft drinks with them - and how Yu was already rising from the towel he'd sat on to fill that quota. "...do you think if I'm too direct in helping him out now? I'm not sure what conclusions others would draw from my behavior but I want to talk with Yu-kun in a more calm setting. That, and - I Teddie claiming how I am 'scoring' is causing me a headache."

"Just go for it, Naoto-kun. He's only going to be happy over your presence and I can keep Teddie busy." She winked at her and Naoto muttered how she was really taking her job as her wingwoman seriously before rising from the stool and walking to the silver-haired male.

"Yu-kun. Do you mind if I helped you get the drinks from the beverage machine?" She sounded as casual and fluent as she could and got a bright smile back.

"Sure. You can remember the orders and help carry them." After she'd listed out the choices everyone else wanted she walked towards the vending machine behind a building with Yu, and when she was sure how others weren't able to see them properly she was glad she could get more out of this than a group situation.

She poked his left hand to hopefully deliver the message of ‘I’d like to hold hands for a bit’. "I hope that I'm not coming off as too assertive but - even though this might be the last times of this Summer when we can hang out together I wish that I didn't have to act less like... you know, without hiding the relationship status we have. The atmosphere in group situations and non-group situations is completely different." 

Yu looked flustered before smiling brightly at her and taking a light hold on her hand. He mused how it wasn't that odd or strange either. "Even though they most likely know how we're an item it doesn't feel the same. I'd rather spend time with you alone."

"Glad to see you agree on that bit with me." Her relief was showing through her voice and she mused almost casually how she saw the vending machine already and continued on her more personal talk topics. She was still overjoyed and glad over this and holding Yu's hand tightly. "Rise-san has been cheering me on to not be afraid of my actions and the only person who I've told on my relationship status change and it's a bit ridiculous. We need to come up with a moment good and calm enough to inform everyone of the changed situation before we both graduate from Yaso High and find a way to keep Teddie from making such a huge number out of it.” If I hear one more of the 'scoring' mention I'll just tell how it's not funny and call his whole attitude out.

The silver-haired male only commented how it would go well enough: after all they had succeeded in one attempt already. "Rise-san took that information well and was happy for both of us. Don't worry on it too much."

Naoto hummed softly and mused how she just needed to not worry on it too much and instead focus on this moment they had - in addition to getting the drinks. "Do you mind if we... It is probably silly that I'm still double-checking but I'm not sure if I step on your boundaries too much." She was still overcareful on this relationship to make sure it wouldn’t sink. 

Her reaction to Yu agreeing was only good news to her and she could swear the time froze for a moment when they kissed for a second, only for her to initiate another short kiss and smile after it. Even though they had time for getting the drinks and not really for anything else this was something she’d cherish.

A nice little ‘date’ the two had spent. It was nice that he’s managed to spend even a little time with her considering she’s been quite hard to catch after school these days, but then again he couldn’t talk either considering there were times he’s never even showed up at school, receiving painful migraines and strange dreams with every full moon of the month..it really made him dread every coming month but time with Akane made him forget everything. Today was no different, being around her always placed a smile on his face until they’ve arrived at the station for a ride back towards the island. Of course, his first reaction was to simply allow her to sit whilst he stood up, ever the gallant knight but..he wanted to tease her a little. Quickly sniping the spot and took a seat before gently tapping his lap rather playfully. “Looks like you’ve got me as a seat if I’m worthy.”

For that day Ritsu picked Ryuji to hang out with since they most likely had more things in common. Though he found himself more fixated on trying to win a teddy from the claw machine than actually holding some form of a conversation.
