Every morning posits a particular struggle as an Afrocorn. Sometimes your hands fail you and your hair leaves are not appropriate for work for some reason. My hair is still growing back from last yrs shaved sides. And it sucks sometimes. #afrocorn #naturalhairstruggles #naturalhairatwork #woc
The Afrocorn demo is out! It's a very early build of the first level with a few things missing (most notably audio) but we are looking for some first impressions on the concept and early feedback on the gameplay!
Check it out here, you can play right in the browser using the Unity player!
To give your feedback, either ask a question on this Tumblr, or send an email here!
We're releasing a small demo of Afrocorn's first level tomorrow! It's still quite early, there's no audio yet, and things are very WIP, but we're looking to get feedback on the fundamentals of the gameplay!
The link will be up tomorrow with more info!
Adding some new items into the mix.
Mouse waiter is ready to serve!
Some screenshots of the things we were working on at Pegjam last weekend. Totally redid the cat-waiter boss fight, and created most of the underwater level. The underwater boss fight needs some work, then we have one more level to go + menus, cleanup, polish, etc before Afrocorn can be released!
We recently did a bunch of work on Afrocorn at a game jam in our home city of Winnipeg called Pegjam! The linked video is a big long presentation of what everybody worked on during the jam weekend, we presented Afrocorn last (1:05:20 in the video). Pretty much nobody there had seen what we were working on before, so it was very cool to see their reactions to our weird ideas.
There’s also a very cool time lapse of the jam going on here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbJ3kY0Y6do
